Just for fun, here are links to a series of recent articles on the history of the Mustang that appeared in the local (New England) edition of the Antique Automobile Club of America newsletter.
The last article in the series is on the S550 (and S650) Mustang...
(Wasn't sure where to post this, it might already be elsewhere, but since I have a S550 thought I'd put it here)
In CarrBuzz today, an article saying that the S650 Mustang will be in production until 2029, at which time it will be replaced by an all-electric battery Mustang (basically a Mach-E...
Has anyone recently bought a Sync upgrade (for the 2015) from Hextall? I know Thomas has had some delays lately, I was wondering if anyone has ordered and received a Sync system recently, to try and get a sense of when mine might come.
Thanks!
Greetings everyone, I'm planning to buy the Hellhorse Performance infotainment upgrade to Sync 3 (from the awful My Ford Touch) for my 2015.

Has anyone done the installation themselves? I'm having...
Greetings all... I'd like to get the Hellhorse Performance Sync 3 infotainment upgrade for my 2015 Mustang (to finally get rid of the buggy, cantankerous, obsolete 'My Ford Touch' ridiculousness).
Does anyone have any suggestions for shops in New England (Massachusetts, Rhode Island...
An amusing article just came out in which Ford National Dealer Council chairman John Crane says the Mach-E won't dilute the Mustang brand:
https://www.autonews.com/dealers/mach-e-wont-dilute-mustang-brand
'Won't dilute the Mustang brand'?
Bullshit.
Here's another story on the Mach-E, with an interesting and scary take:

I hope this isn’t the Ford Probe 1980's all over again, with the ‘Mach-E’ being another foolish...
The power window on the passenger side makes a horrendously loud screeching/scraping noise when it goes up. It's quiet going down, and doesn't make the noise going up when it's raining and the window is lubricated with water. But when it's dry, the screeching noise it makes is loud enough to...
My car is having a problem with the rear view camera, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
The camera intermittently stops working (of course it's intermittent...). It happens when either the outside air temperature is warm, or the car is warm from heat soak from...
I had a great experience with VIP Performance in Portland on Sacramento St. Went to them to have them install a Blowfish Racing shifter bracket and a Mishimoto H-pipe on my 2015 Mustang GT.
They did a perfect job, and took only an hour and a half to install both. Very clean installation, no...
I just noticed when watching last week’s episode of ‘Gotham’ (FOX tv series), Alfred gave Bruce Wayne (young future Batman) a car as a birthday present - a matte black S550 Mustang GT (bullet proof, of course).
I guess that sort of makes the Mustang the quasi-batmobile (for the moment).
For those that have owned both a 2018 GT and an earlier (2015-2017) model, does the suspension of the 2018 GT reduce/get rid of the "floaty" feeling of the front end in the 2015?
I know it's not an engineering or technical term, but it describes what I sense in my 2015 GT. The absolute...
Does anyone know when pricing for the Bullitt will be announced? Has Ford given a date for when pricing will be available? All I've heard is 'March'.
Thanks!
Here's a link to an interesting story today in The Truth About Cars, about Ford's game plan:
http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2018/01/fords-short-term-game-plan-cull-cars-slash-configurations-boost-profits/
As others have commented on before in several threads, CEO Jim Hackett is all...
http://autoweek.com/article/car-reviews/2018-ford-mustang-first-drive-most-mustang-you-can-buy-thats-not-shelby
Like other reviews, AutoWeek's assessment is favorable. Without having driven one, it seems like it has a number of incremental improvements over the 2015-2017, in many areas, and...
I've seen some car magazines (such as Road & Track) mention that the manual transmission in the 2018 Mustang will have some "improvements" from the GT350.
Does anyone know anything about this? Will there be any improvements, or is it still the same old Chinese made MT-82?
Thanks!
