How do you use 6 point harnesses with the stock seats? Has any one modified the seats so submarine straps can come through?

Why don't they put a seat base harness slot in these? Seems kind of pointless to have slots for shoulder harnesses and not have a submarine slot. I'm either going to have to get another seat base to cut up, or get a different set of seats for the track. I think it's bizarre.
