  1. Lightweight Carbon Fiber Mustang race car parts

Hey guys. Just got back from the carbon shop. We were picking up a set of race doors for our 2015 race car. These parts are very strong for carbon, and are very lightweight. They're pre-preg/dry lay-up autoclave carbon fiber doors. Indycar quality. What we have so far: - Full race car doors...

  3. 2015 Carbon Fiber Body parts

Just thought I'd let everyone know. We won't be getting the roof done in carbon. It was too expensive to get the molds done. But we should have our first decklid done in the next week. I will keep everyone posted.
  4. Brian Faessler's New V6 Mustang!

We would have had to wait until about August to get a BIW. We're hoping to sell the drivetrain to help recoup to expense of buying the car. But it also helped us understand taking the car apart on how Ford assembles them. So it wasn't a total loss.

I don't personally make the molds. But we've already got the place pretty busy that's doing our molds. We do custom work, but usually just small volume custom work for our personal race cars/street cars.

  8. Brian Faessler's New V6 Mustang!

Not sure exactly what size motor it was. But it was at least a 427ci motor with a mid-mount turbo setup (same as my car as Paul's Automotive Engineering designed it). It was 3000lbs and 1000RWHP. My car was 3450 and 800hp

These doors are intended to be sold for race cars. So what was shown for the inner shot is what the finished product is. There won't be any panels, unless you make your own. there is enough room to put weather stripping but that's about it. It'll accept the stock latch, and door hinges

As far as our hood, I'm guessing it's not going to have a cowl. it's either going to have the stock look or luevers or something along those lines. But I will definitely keep you posted on the decklid though

Hood's will be in the works yes. I'm just not sure when we'll have it done. We're going to make a hood for our 15 race car, but we're not sure on the design of it. As far as an educated guess on a hood ETA, I'd guess February-March. If it's anything like the doors, it's going to be light! The...
