I specially ordered this 2015 Mustang GT in August 2014 and took delivery from Covert Ford in Austin November 2014.
A pic of the window sticker is included in this ad and, as you can see, the MSRP was $43,195 for this Ruby Red premium GT with the Performance Pack.
Although I’ve put...
Sad to report that I’m selling my 2015 Premium GT with Performance Pack. Purchasing a new Ram Longhorn which is going to be more practicable for me. But man I have enjoyed this Mustang. And I still do.
I’ve added almost $9k in mods to her (see the list below), and I know I’ll never recoup...
I’m thinking of getting new wheels.
I’ve been running Velgen VMB7s for a while. I’ve put a little curb rash on them, plus the last place that mounted tires for me scuffed the edges up a bit.
And I’m wanting to change up the appearance of the car. Thinking about Velgen Classic 5s or...
Has anyone else’s trunk struts started to fail?
Mine will still hold the trunk open all the way; but when I start to lower the trunk, I can tell that the struts no longer provide slow resistance as you close the trunk. When it reaches a certain point (not even half way down), the trunk will...
Got tired of just laying the iPhone on the passenger seat and a friend recommended this Mountek Snap 3.
It fits into the CD player but you can also mount it on either side of to the Sync screen. For now, I've got it mounted on the right side of the screen.
Seems to work very well. Here...
I posted this in an existing thread but that thread doesn't have very many posts. So I thought I would start another thread and hopefully get some input from guys more IT savvy than me.
I received my Rexing V1 dash cam yesterday evening and I'm using the plug in cigarette lighter power...
Rear Steeda camber arms installed today. Rear camber is darn near perfect now, and the rear end seems more "solid."
So suspension wise, I'm now running the Steeda pro action (non-adjustable) shocks and struts, Steeda's rear shock mounts, Steeda's adjustable rear camber arms, Steeda's...
I'm trying to determine if my front Velgen VMB7s will work with 15mm and/or 20mm hub centric spacers. I want to poke the front tires/wheels out a bit so they're close to flush.
The front Velgens are 9 x 20 and I'm running 275/35/20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on them.
The cutouts on...
Anyone running these Eibach 15 mm spacers?
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/ES90-6-15-056-2015-Mustang-15mm-Pro-Spacer-System.html
I'm considering them to poke my front wheels/tires out a bit. 15 mm should give me a little over 9/16" which I think will be about right.
If you are...
Just got Michelin PSSs installed.
275/35/20s on the front. 295/35/20s on the rear. They inflated the pressure on all four at 32lbs, per the recommendation on the door panel sticker, which seems appropriate.
Anyway, just wondering if 32lbs cold pressure is the best pressure for tread...
Just got a quote on a set of Michelin PSS. 275/35/20 fronts, and 295/35/20 rears.
The fronts are $263.00 and the rears are $325.00.
Total price, including tax, mounting and balancing, is $1,378.
This seems like a reasonable price for good tires.
Thoughts?
Okay Gents, I need a little input.
I've received my Steeda Pro-Action (non-adjustable) shocks and struts and billet aluminum rear shock mounts.
And I'm looking for a local shop to install them. The one estimate that I've gotten so far is $701.00.
And I'm like
Their...
What suspension upgrades have folks done to their GTs with the Performance Package?
I'm lowered on Steeda's progressive springs and just wondering if there's something else to do to my 2015 GT/PP to make her ride/handle a little better. Better shocks maybe?
After much researching, I ordered the below rear aluminum louvers from CJ Pony Parts. (The pic is of fellow member Zolstang's ruby red with the louvers and I think his Mustang and the louvers look killer.)
I went with this model b/c I think the MRT aluminum louvers look a little too bulky and...
I'm running Steeda's progressive springs on my GT/PP.
Would Ford Performance's strut and shock performance kit be a decent, reasonably priced upgrade?
I feel like the stock struts and shocks are a bit lacking.
Anyone running these shocks and struts?
Thoughts appreciated.
From time to time, and after I've driven the car for a while and it's really warmed up, if not hot, the clutch pedal will come further up, about 3/4 inch or so.
When this happens, it adversely affects the clutch and shifting. The friction point where the clutch engages is further up and the...
Anyone know which version of the 2015/2016 Mustang this almost new splitter goes with?
It's off of an almost new take off front bumper assembly that I recently purchased to replace my bumper assembly.
I know it's not a GT PP splitter.
Maybe for any non-PP GT?
