ACL9000ā¦.. Ford will tell you to go to a dealer. The dealer will tell you what you already stated that the warranty period for this is 5 years . Youāre well
past this , so expect to hear ā no warranty for youā.
You can try to get Ford to partially cover the repair. If you donāt ask, the...
I would try to get Ford to provide an extended warranty , consider it a bonus if you get it, pay the $6200 , get the dealer to replace the transmission , and move on.
As much as the op doesnāt like the offer, technically Ford doesnāt have to
give anything.
If a buyback was offered, I...
Iām looking at picking up a low miles used car. I had access to a low mile ā21 PP1 magnaride and found that the ride was
good on the local roads . It filtered out
the smaller imperfections well and overall, I found it was a comfortable ride. It has the stock Pirellis.
It was considerably...
I would get a Ford dealer to run a scan
and see if the car was tuned. Would be
surprised if it wasnāt.
Worthwhile to know if you inadvertently
bought a car without a powertrain warranty.
Iāve used Rust Check ...Coat and Protect
to spray the undercarriage and
along the bottom of the doors.
This , along with washing the undercarriage
periodically, along with regular car washes
helps alot.
Prompt repair of rock chips is critical.
Too bad Fordās pos hood is rusting.
I would keep what you have and move on.
But, if itās going to drive you nuts, get
replacement wheels...keeping in mind
they might be worse....
I agree with LMR.....everything balances
out and runs smooth....there isnāt any
functional problem.
Who knows how many wheels are like
those in...
Excessive out of round tire will
cause a vibration.
Iāve observed a few tires that appear
out of round when spun on the
balancer, but were all good, along
with the respective wheels,
when road force balanced....print
outs were good, and they rode/ drove
smooth.
As soon as you tell LMR there...
I wouldnāt be concerned about a wheel
failure.
I would go get it road forced balanced,
and get a printout of the wheel run out,
as well as the balance results.
That will give you the definitive answer
of what is happening.
The actual measurements could indicate
the wheel runout is in an...
Not at all ..... Ive had wheel/ tires assemblies
that appeared out of round on the balancer,
but drove fine.
Iām assuming you have the out of round
wheel on your car.....Curious as to what
it feels like on the road.
