Butt hurt is still the right description, but I was definitely crass in my previous post when I should not have been.
OP said that GM copied the FPC from Ford, which only makes it true if you acknowledge that Ford copied it from Ferrari. In this instance Ford is like Apple, where they did not...
A someone who is actively looking to buy either a new Mach 1 or used GT350, this thread interests me.
On paper, I can only see the Mach 1 besting it with some bells and whistles such as rev matching, digital dash, and wider wheels.
Yep, this part of the review made absolutely no sense and felt like a contrived jab at boomers.
Coming from a millennial, it's going to be the younger folks that complain about having enormous power and poor gas mileage. Older folks know you can't have your cake and eat it too.
My argument wasn't comparing PP1 to the Mach 1, but the SS 1LE to the Mach 1 which comes in significantly cheaper. I agree that if you're going to load up a PP1 then you might as well step up to a Mach 1.
I believe at the height of the bbq tick situation people were in fact switching to 5w-30 to see if it fixed it and concluded it made no difference.
I'd put money on 5w-30 being recommended for it's protective abilities.
I highly doubt the SS 1LE will outperform the Mach 1 in any performance tests except 0-60 where it still has a power advantage. The PP2 was already even with it and the Mach 1 being slightly above that.
Having said that the SS 1LE is absolutely the better value performance car and I believe the...
Not sure why Ford would ever spend the resources on developing a new I6 when there is a perfectly good 2.7/3.5 that works well for the Mustang.
I do think that the Mustang will be offered with AWD, but only in a hybrid engine configuration. I also see the 5.0 soldiering on as the same 480hp...
Yep, couple that with the fact the C8 has gone upstream and the Camaro is a lame duck, Ford can now go hog wild with Mustang pricing as we have seen.
And it's actually not just the Mustang, but pretty much all vehicles in their portfolio. The top end Bronco is 60k and only comes in the 2.7.
You guys really need to stop being so petty about this, because the other option is for Ford to completely kill off the Mustang. It's no secret that they are going all in on electrification so we should take what we can get.
All of this has been argued ad nauseam with Porsche and what they've...
The GT350 seats will do the job just fine. OP didn't say this was going to be a dedicated track car, and even if he did, those Recaros work well. Only in a stripped out racer scenario would he need to go the aftermarket seat route.
Huh? I'd argue that the 15-17 MY looks the most like the Fusion (not that it's a bad thing since it shares some DNA with Aston Martin) while the 18+ went full on catfish.
The Mach 1 is the best looking non-Shelby Mustang in my opinion.
