You are definitely going to get some differential nvh with the differential bushings. Its going to whine quite a bit from 40mph on even at cruising speeds. Gets louder on deceleration. I have bmr craddle lock outs, upr vertical links derlin, derlin non adjustable camber arms upr, upr toe...
Did they increased nvh by alot with that combo? I have a bmr k member so I am sure it will be up quite a bit. I did differential bushings and now I got some gear whine. The rear end feels great though 😅
Steeda uses red energy suspension poly which is 80 durometer according to steeda. Also upr uses red poly bushing from energy suspension for diff bushing and it's also 80 durometer. I have energy suspension differential bushings and I was told its 80 durometer.
Same thing happened to mine. I tried doing the kelltrac replacement bushings for the differential but they were on back order and I already had the craddle down at the shop. Went with replacement red poly bushing. Cars feels great but you can hear the differential whine at odd speeds and...
I did most of my rear suspension mods possible and the one that adds nvh was the diff bushings. Tried doing powerflex diff inserts the yellow ones and the front oem dif bushings got destroyed trying to tighten the bolt. Went with poly bushings and the nvh went up noticeably. Specially during...
Op, how is the project holding up? I did diff bushings on my s550 and I got gear whine. I am going to be using siless 200min 3in1. Any tips for doing the trunk and under the seats? I am going to start with those areas then possibly the doors last once I decide to replace the speakers.
I am definitely trying that suggestion. I have steeda adjustable sway bar with their adjustable end links. I am off by 3/8" on the driver side. I adjusted the sway bar preload to a neutral position and the rear feels better but the gap is from driver to passenger side is noticeable.
