Very similar in scare factor to the out of control early vipers. It's just such a stunning and classic looking car. I always wanted one.
  3. New GT350R Owner

    That camaro is really impressive.
  4. New GT350R Owner

How did you like your GT. They've really gone up in value
  5. New GT350R Owner

I didn't say it was a faster just more engaging. By the way My turbo has a GIAC stage 2 chip, europipe exhaust, new intercoolers and is now pushing 680hp. My 0-60 time has been clocked @ 2.6, 0-100 5.9 and 1/4 mile was a 10.71. All that with a glorious burmester sound system playing to trick you...

Hey Mike. Thanks for the post. When I drove it to a friends function last week, a remark was made "You bought a Ford?". I gave him a little ride around the block, afterward he quickly withdrew his comment and was in awe that Ford made something like that. Really is a cool car.

I agree Steve. Technology really has come a long way. Beautiful car. Thanks for your input and hope you enjoy it.
  8. New GT350R Owner

You did notice which car was on the top rack and less accessible.
  9. New GT350R Owner

Tell her it's a least not another women. I tell mine a car is still less expensive and certainly less maintenance.

Glad to have another old guy in there with me. The lettering is a tape that my body guy installed. My car list has always been Chevys till being blessed with a great business and the ability to buy a Porsche one day. But you know my real roots go back to the good ole American Muscle.
  11. New GT350R Owner

The lettering is a tape that my paint guy did when he tinted the windows. I saw it on another car and thought it looked cool. The other thing that should be down is the GT350 insignia on the side needs to be something other than chrome. Either painted black or red.
  12. New GT350R Owner

    Definitely will.
  13. New GT350R Owner

Probably won't help. She knows car guys are somewhat deranged.
  14. New GT350R Owner

Yes. I always look at those and have come close to buying one. However, a real nice example goes for $75+.
  15. New GT350R Owner

I never thought I would be interested in a Mustang, especially at 67 years old. But, I kept reading about this car and felt moved to order one. I received this stunning looking car about 3 weeks ago and must say this is really a joy to look at and to drive. I've owned quite a number of Porsche's...
  16. 2017 R suspension height

Thanks for the reply. I had them removed
  17. 2017 R suspension height

Just took delivery on a Lightning blue R 2 weeks ago. The height of the body over the tires seems quite high compared to pictures I've observed. I looked at the front springs and noticed that the car were shipped with spring spacers and were not removed by the dealer upon their predelivery. I...
  18. Impact Blue due in 12/28

Porsches are 2015's 991's. The turbo S is brutally fast (chipped to 660 hp, 2.6 to 60) but not as engaging as the GT3. Also the sound of the GT3 is quite intoxicating. The sound bits that I've heard on the 350 sound pretty good too. I'm sure in person will be quite a bit better. Looking forward...
  19. Impact Blue due in 12/28

I wanted track package but delayed long enough that the dealer that I had been dealing with ordered a tech pack car. I kindof settled for it.
  20. Impact Blue due in 12/28

Been following this car since introduction. Finally gave in and ordered one. Currently have Porsche gt3 and turbo S. I am really looking forward to good ole American muscle. I'm a senior guy that last had a great muscle car back in 1974, (an L88, 67 vette). I busted up the front fender on it and...
