  1. S650 Aftermarket Sound System

Where did you pull 12v power for the LC2 from? and did you run your 12v power for the Amp under the carpet and trim, and if so, where did you enter the engine bay to get to the battery?
  2. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

Oh Yes pictures were taken quick while I was changing tires. The red circle is exactly where I need to look at, right? I am going to change engine oil and the filter after work today. I will take some pics and post them. From your knowledge, do you know how to connect the actuator harness...
  3. Aftermarket OEM Active Exhaust

you are looking too far forwards. the wiring and actuators are at the very back. the harness that splits to power the actuators runs through the trunk. lift up the spare cover and look at the far back part. on the left is a wire that runs through a rubber grommet. that wire re appears underneath...
  4. Stereo Build Finally Finished!

So...this did come back to bite me. My Focal amp runs quite hot and I had it shut down for thermal a few times on a recent road trip. I added a fan with a thermocouple that kicks it on at a certain temp. Works great so far...
  5. 24 GT Premium Subwoofer Help?

Its going to be difficult for you to install a subwoofer in the trunk if your car didn't come with one to begin with. The wiring isn't there. I'm sure there are solutions for you but I just think it will be difficult to get done and still look OEM. Best of luck!
  6. 2018 Active Exhaust Install Guide

Can you explain this better. Maybe eve a few pic?
  7. S650 Aftermarket Sound System

What enclosure did you use for your subwoofers?
  8. Trunk Release Not Working (2018 Vert)

You can load the parts cannon if you wish. It may, or may not, fix the issue. Personally, I'd guess not though. As Cobra said, just because one function works is not an indication that the whole harness is good. Since everything in the trunk is basically controlled by the BCM you have 3 basic...
  9. 2018 Active Exhaust Install Guide

For any one with 2022 trying to do this. I had the plug in the trunk that I used the wiring harness for a gt500. Removed the wiring for the diff cooler. Everything was plug and play. Make sure you have the fuses, turn on turntable exhaust in IPC with forscan and activate the exhaust with a turn.
  10. 4G Modem Disabling Instructions:

Ah, interesting thanks, the trunk sounds less intimidating than interior footwell trim... Is that just around where the spare wheel well is? And I guess you left the yellow and red in place, but yanked the black-ended cable, which was likely power?
  11. 4G Modem Disabling Instructions:

Yes, that's the one. Pull the wiring/data harness. For good measure pull out the two coaxial leads too. You will get no CEL lights, but a scan will show diagnostics in relation. Pull the plugs!
  12. nGauge Vent Install - AC Plug

Thank you, but I think I’m good for now. I have been considering relocating my battery to a trunk mount, but that would require redoing some wiring, in addition to the battery wiring, as some of my nitrous wiring is attached to the battery tray.
  13. taillights not working properly?

Sometimes it’s something so simple that takes the most time to sort out… LOL…. Well good to hear you’re back to operational again!
  14. taillights not working properly?

Im an idiot lol. So I cut the taillight grounds from the main ground tab in the trunk to clean up the wiring in prep for my depin-fest on the whole harness (grounded those in each corner of the car) and forgot to reground the trunk bcm "b" unit. as soon as I read your post I cursed a bit as...
  15. taillights not working properly?

Maybe a bad brake light switch, headlight switch, or combination switch? I don't have a wiring diagram for that system Any mods on the car or repair work done recently? Have you been screwing around with FORscan?
  16. Disabled EQ with forscan, what would you do next for upgrade?

Maestro makes a pigtail that will plug into your stock wiring at the OEM amp location. It’s either the AF02 or AF03 depending on what stock audio system you have. These pigtails are short though so you’ll have to add length to them if you’re mounting the amp anywhere other than the stock...
  17. Mustang B & O Skar-ified full speaker swap spoilers (not a waste of $)

For now no amp additions. The car still belongs to the bank. So im doing to my best to do all upgrades on a budget. Once the title is home. All bets are off. I spent 280 in speakers (11 total used 10) and i will say that it sounds as good as it should have out of the showroom. Can and will it be...
  18. Mustang B & O Skar-ified full speaker swap spoilers (not a waste of $)

So you didn't add any amps? Definitely doubles the budget and added complexity, but depends on what you're after. I did a complete speaker replacement and dual 12s. If you decide to go further, check out a few of the posts that explain the OEM integration and wire harness adapter that allow...
  19. Noise from passenger lower door speaker when stereo is turned off and car is off on 2015 Ecoboost Premium

I have low level audible static (sounds like a cooling fan on a laptop) coming from the passenger side lower door speaker when the stereo is off. I can also faintly hear it from rear speakers. No audible noise from tweeters, mids, center dash, or woofer in trunk. Just passenger lower and rear...
  20. 2024 Ecoboost Premium - Adding 2024 OEM Shaker Subwoofer from GT?

Hello All. This is Tim in Broomfield, Colorado. I just bought my first Mustang ever and I love it. Mostly. Other than not being able to afford the GT, the one thing I don't like is the lack of a subwoofer. I'm hoping you folks might help me shake out the riddle of how the audio is wired in my...
