Less than 1000 miles. Ford OEM rotors from 2019 GT Performance Pack car. Ford part# KR3Z-1125-G.
Rotors are much smoother than the photos make them appear.
Indy area. Will ship, but these are 35# each. Calipers not included, duh.
I have some experience with these issues.
First off, it is known that clear film does not stick down onto the gloss black plastic panels very well. It is almost like two charged dielectric materials repelling each other. So you should lower your expectations at those locations. When I...
My car is described in my signature below. It is 98-99% daily driver, and 1-2% road course. I have read several threads about diff bushing kits.
I don't want any more NVH, so I conclude that there is no point in swapping out inserts from anyone's kits (and there are many offerings now).
I put paint pen index marks on all my suspension fasteners. I use blue threadlock a lot, but I use red threadlock for the caliper bolts because of track days.
Once, I tightened some suspension bolts to align the index marks, and then checked them with my torque wrench. The torque hadn't...
I have the exact same setup as OP. I use HF stands, and they have the deep U. (Some models were flatter.) But I also use their special rubber pads on top. I used a marker to draw a line where each lip at the end of the top is located. This helps me to position the stand laterally so that it...
I think anti-rust high-temp primer, followed by high-temp paint, followed by high-temp clear is best. The clear helps repel the brake dust that would otherwise adhere to the painted hats between washes.
IMO the cowl brace is more important. Think of it as a bent STB. It will still stiffen the two shock towers with each other side-to-side, but it will also stiffen them front-to-back.
If you add the cowl brace, be sure to also install the support bracket with it. (The bolt location at the...
I have the Ford OEM for 2015-17. Is that what you are looking for?
Your photo shows a complete kit, but your description indicates the kit is incomplete.
Let me get this straight. Is this what you have for sale?
Red bushings only
Two short, two medium, and two long bolts
Small flat washers only (quantity=?), no large washers
NO tube inserts...
Adjust the bottom cushion angle up to put more pressure on your thighs and hence less on your butt.
I ordered a gel pad from eBay and it is under the Ford seat cover so that it doesn't even show. It's on the passenger side for the wife. Search for "Comfortable Motorcycle Seat Gel...
Here is my technique for installing the ZL1 wicker bill onto my PP1 rear wing.
This first photo of the tools used explains a lot. I arranged them left to right in order of use.
Laser aimed at camera center was used to find exact center of my wing. I discovered that the wing stripes were...
I always get a confused look when I tell someone that black is a $7000 upcharge option.
I have to explain that it costs that much for full clear film.
I suppose ceramic might combat swirls and repel dust a bit longer.
I always clean the glass on my cars last. Of course, a little of the spray gets on the paint, and I pick that up with the glass cleaner cloth.
But then again, I switched to SprayWay (no ammonia) because it absolutely does not streak.
TLDR: No, I have not. I have not been to a track with high-speed turns yet.
I've only had 4 days at Putnam Park. Turn 4 is the fastest. I got up to 90 at the exit. An instructor drove my car at 95 there on his 3rd or 4th lap in my car. Later in the day (with more track...
Thanks. Yeah, I like how my car looks too. :) It's my Poor Man's McLaren.
Here's one I snagged this morning, overcast day.
I am likely to skip the clear center section for now, but I can imagine installing it for track days.
I just picked up enough clear film from Pristine Auto Spa to cover...
