  1. Most horsepower you can make with a 2017 mustang ?

You can get to about 750-800 safely with a Gen3R and 93/Boostane @ 19.5-20.5° of spark advance.
  2. Help? SC issues.

I'm guessing its has more to do with the cam timing/bypass when it hits a certain load as your throttle position opens up further. This isn't that uncommon with PD compressors. Many have a little bit dead zone, some more than others.
  3. Just a tiny bit more exhaust tone wanted

I went back to stock mufflers and resonator. Kook's LT's and no cats. It's about 10%-15% louder than stock, and I can hear everything again.
  4. Drag Strip Tips?

With being lowered, manual, and low profile performance summer tires, the only thing you can do is perfect the perfect clutch slip. 26-28psi in the tires, and give them a quick 3-4 second heat cycle.
  5. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

That’s common sense. They don’t make that anymore.
  6. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

    At $2.19/gallon it will.
  7. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

It’s 14.9 cents per KWH here. It’s cheaper to drive my Corolla 60 miles/day than it is to charge a Tesla Model 3. That’s summer use. In the hills and in winter, it would cost close to 25% less to drive the Corolla.

People will LOVE their electric bills......
  9. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

Nobody said “they will never replace the horse”. LOL.
  10. Is this the right way to change my wheels?

Never said I know better. I know what’s safe and works as intended for my applications.
  11. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

    I would bet against that.
  12. Is this the right way to change my wheels?

Because most numbers have a degree of trying to stop stupidity these days. To reduce lawsuits etc. From what I’ve seen with 150lb-ft lug nut torque on these cars, it galls the threads and distorts the lug nuts pretty easily. Tighter isn’t always better. My truck is 5200lbs, caries a 31” tire...
  13. Is this the right way to change my wheels?

I torque mine to 120-125lb-ft. They don't budge. 150 is completely ridiculous.
  14. Former Mustang Chief Engineer Insists Your V8 Is Safe—For Now

There's over 78 ICE engines in R+D now that aren't planned to roll out until the next 7-12 years. ICE's aren't going anywhere for at least 25+ years. Not until they build a ton of nuclear plants and completely restructure the current countries support grid, which would take at LEAST 20-25...
  15. getting IATs down on a centri

Correct. Two different tables. IAT will override any advances in spark advance.
  16. getting IATs down on a centri

Yeah, that’s a solid reduction of about 50-70whp right there. Looks like you were at the track at a bad time as well. Go back when it’s cooler, and less crowded before trying to spend money on dropping IAT’s a few degrees IMO.
  17. getting IATs down on a centri

Is your car pulling timing because of IAT? I would datalog it and check. If it isn't, there's not much to worry about and you're not really losing anything. Dropping post compressor IATS on a RPM driven setup, isn't going to net you much at all like it would a turbo system.
  18. Mufflers?! Who needs em?! ☠️🤘🏻

People will buy chit in a bag if the bag is shiny.
