  1. Auto Rim Shop: Avoid.

I just wanted to share an update and I’d like to moderate my earlier comments on Dan, the customer service rep. He had sent an email this morning updating me on the impending delivery and was diligently following up on the progress of the shipment, which I didn’t see until later in the day. It...
  2. Auto Rim Shop: Avoid.

And yes, these are going back. If anyone knows of anyone selling their PP2 wheels, a PM heads up would be much appreciated.
  3. Auto Rim Shop: Avoid.

I have been unhappy with the graphite color of the SVE SP2 wheels with my Kona Blue car so I set out to get a set of real PP2 wheels, weight be damned. The best deal that I found was a “refurbished” set through Auto Rim Shop…I didn’t need them to be flawless and they made promises about the...
  4. Performance Pack Gauges on 2019+ GT

Scott, I think we’ve been looking into the same question here. One comment I saw a while back that I’m trying to find again stated that ‘16+ cars had the plug for the gauges tucked behind the Sync unit. Can anyone support or refute this?
  5. FP Track Handling Pack

If we're upgrading a base model car, is there anything not included with this kit that we need to add or should add while the suspension is apart?? I am getting the BMR cradle lockout pieces....wasn't sure if there was anything else. Thanks!
  6. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

So I’m pretty much done with trying to like the dark graphite finish on the SP2 with the Kona Blue paint. It’s not ugly but it’s also not attractive. At all. I’m super particular about aesthetics. I realize that my own taste doesn’t necessarily look good to anyone else but for whatever...
  7. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Thanks again to all... I suspected that the MR cars may have longer studs and it just occurred to me that I bought a set of take-off Brembos from Shelby and they came with the MR specific sheet metal bracket on the brake line...so it's plausible that I do have MR rotors/studs as well. Looks...
  8. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

So non-Magneride folks can run these?
  9. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I’m too lazy to take the wh Thanks! Do you know if the SP2s have negative space between the lugs to allow the use of this type of spacer (below)? Seems easier and cleaner than pressing in longer studs... I forgot what the backside of these wheels looks like and I’m too lazy to jack up the...
  10. Avoid MT-82?

I bought my second MT82 last May. My first one was a super early June 2010 build, it was perfect right up until I sold it with ~40k hard miles behind a tuned Coyote. Second one has been great so far. IMO, there's nothing wrong with this transmission. It's apparently not the most heavy...
  11. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Thanks. I considered those but they’re way heavier and much more expensive than SP2s while looking nearly identical. I guess the stock backspace is available with those so that’s a plus for the FRP wheels IMO.
  12. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

Maybe I’ve got the terminology backwards but I have always called higher numerical final drive as a shorter gear... :). either way, the plan was to be able to enjoy the high revving Coyote’s power band a bit more and so far, it has accomplished that. The high end of the RPM band is much more...
  13. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

Thanks! That’s exactly what I thought too. The OEM stuff is often really tasteful and well executed. IMO, this spoiler looks purposeful and not overly dramatic. That’s how I prefer to live my life as well. :)
  14. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I hear you but something about it looks pretty purposeful and mean to my eye.
  15. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

That sounds familiar... somewhere along the line, I assumed that SVE had copied all dimensions but on that’s not true. Has anyone run front spacers with the SP2s in an attempt to duplicate this look? I wonder how close it would look to the real deal.
  16. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Do the OEM PP2 wheels stick out farther than the SP2s? I'm trying to figure out why they look so much better than the SVE copies. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with them but they aren't as aggressive looking as I had expected.
  17. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

I’ll post a decent picture of the PP2 piece when I actually have a chance to take one. :D
  18. OEM Recaro seats part number for the 18+ GT

I second this question. In particular, I’m trying to hunt down cloth Recaros. Thanks.
  19. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

Thanks to everyone for the input! I used heat and a thin plastic wedge made for bodywork, wrapped in a microfiber cloth. Piece of cake. I found that applying the heat from the heat gun in through the underside was very effective. Getting the residue off took a while. No big deal though. PP2...
  20. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

Thanks again to all. This is one of those simple jobs where doing it right is important. Rushing it means a damaged trunk lid and/or spoiler. I’ve been working in my cars pretty hard for the past five years or so. I’ve learned a ton and I can usually figure anything out but unless I ask...
