I guess, you mixed up the digits. It is either WPT-1342 or WPT-1411 (according to my workshop manual).
These are the right wires, but I would prefer correct CAN bus wiring, which means only short lines from the main wires. This means splicing in close to the sensor. It is not as difficult as it...
Yes, you need to change the programming of the ABS. Can be done by ForScan. I think it was mentioned here:
this is normally changed during the conversion from US to EU.
There are two changes:
* the light bulb are changed to have the single function (blinker) only.
* the wire for the second function was cut in most cases close to the plug to the light.
You should be able to restore the...
In my case the wires were already present at the door connectors and I have a MY16 base model. To be exactly the wire colors should be yellow+blue and yellow+green.
A general warning: be careful with wire colors as they might be different. Both wires start in C215 #8 and go to the door...
Please check here:
Basically the first digit in the configuration needs to be changed from 0 to 2 for a manual car.
Hope this helps.
It is definitely possible and that's exactly what I did. I run all 8 speakers from that single amp (no center and additional amp for the sub).
You don't have to replace the stock amp, but doing so, gives you more space for the new amp.
Removing the stock amp will eliminate noise cancellation and...
This is how my setup looks with the dash removed:
I built a custom plate, mounted it in the default location and added the amp and the crossover. The space is tight but it is all possible without removing the dash.
This error shows up, if the module configuration does not work for your programming.
Have you changed anything on your APIM related configuration? APIM does not seem to be related to your changes of the ABS.
Maybe it does not disable the ABS module completely. This plug is C126 and it controls a power line from fuse F62 to the ABS module. The ABS module has two more power lines for the pump and valves.
At least the traction control functions of the ABS module should be disabled.
