White Madness Garage makes one you can swap shifter balls on. Otherwise they are part of the shifter.
As for the boot: if you get a manual boot from Ford, it comes with the silver bezel that snaps in to the center console. Easy swap.
I did the universal shifter and use a cheap white Delrin...
Go through what trouble? They have a whole new bumper unique to the car and that’s the only thing it mates with. Plus, since the grill is a new mold tool anyway, it isn’t saving them anything by not changing the profile. See the pics. It’s straight on and you can clearly see the difference...
I run a 305/35/20 in the rear and a 255/35/20 up front (stock height) and personally I like the look of the taller side walls of a 35 AP. I think 19” with 30 series look too small overall for the wheel wells.
Plus, it’s a slightly better ride too.
I personally think it needs some muffler. I saw a video with Roush mufflers and a TruX that sounded fantastic. I’ll have to find that one. IMO the Roush are a little too wild with a normal H or X pipe, but with the MF TruX it tames it down just enough and gives a nice growl.
If it was any other company I’d agree. I generally would try to make it right and work with the company. But when you have to deal with a company that makes it so hard to fix THEIR errors, I’d save myself the headache if in the end it doesn’t net a loss on my part.
Option 4 Magnaflow Tru-X. I ran it for a bit with OEM active mufflers. Track mode sounded fantastic with no raspiness at all. Just nice and deep tone. It just didn’t have quite as much volume as I wanted. Maybe ever so slightly louder than stock but better tone IMO.
I went to the Steeda H-pipe...
