I'm still on the Bronco boards, hopeful that they'll get the bugs worked out.
That said, my JL won't be fully out of warranty until April of 2028 and I'll reevaluate a Bronco then. But if it remains the bulletproof rig it's been so far, Ford might not get me in that market. Especially if they...
As said above, you'll need a 4-door.
If you do look at hardtops, the MIC (molded in color) units are somewhat notorious for cracking, so beware. A friend with a 2-door is on his second top....
Spend some time on the Bronco forums. They have their share of issues, yet plenty have a great experience.
Ridiculously long story story short, I wanted to buy a Bronco in '22 and ended up ordering my '23 JL Rubicon instead (my fifth Wrangler). Absolutely zero regrets. Its ZF8 transmission made...
I actually have that worry about my '15, the primary reason I'd swap it for the right '60s classic in a heartbeat. And it's far simpler than today's vehicles.
California Car Cover products have always worked well for me.
Otherwise, old cotton bed sheets work too if you're looking for temporary dust protection.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: a curse on the bean counters that eliminated the conventional transmission dipsticks.
Stupid. At least make it an option, I'd spring for it.
If anybody knows if someone is tuning the trucks, shoot me a PM with the details. My '19 F150 is out of warranty, and I want this damn transmission working properly....
The Caddy CT4-V Blackwing is a damn fine road car though. A co-worker has one (manual , of course), and it's a barrel of fun. I drove it to lunch one day when he drove it to work, and freeway on ramps are an absolute hoot.
I would expect that S550 values would remain fairly strong for very clean, low mile examples simply because the S650s are so expensive. I was offered near what I paid for my '15 (spotless, under 15K miles) at the local collector car emporium over the weekend toward a stunning '70 Mach 1, but we...
And there it is, my Gulfstream Aqua-ish color I've been ranting about.
But outside the GTD which I'll never have, the S650 doesn't move the needle for me, no matter the color.
