The only issue I ran into was that I ordered a replacement aftermarket stripe for the front of the car and a new trunk piece and it was the last of the exact material I had ordered 5 years earlier. Still got me what I needed, but I am likely on my own for a perfect vinyl match if I have to do it...
Yea ive been compiling spring rate options to change up my setup at some point and looking at something near Vorshlag's GTS setup and Nitrons Road setup.
• Vorshlag's GT Spring Package is 450F/550R
• Vorshlag's GTS Spring Package is 600F/700R
• Vorshlag's GTR Spring Package is 800F/1100R
• MRR...
The E-Ray is like 20k more than a C8 and that upgrade gets you the widebody of the Z06 too. Technically speaking, this is actually less of an upgrade from ZR1 to ZR1X than it is from C8 to E-Ray. Will be interesting to see what they do with pricing.
Crank has evetything to do with rpm, and horspower is just a function of torque x rpm, so if youre chasing hp numbers then the crank matters. Ford kneecapped the Voodoo by not making it a traditional FPC and that limited its rpm somewhat and its hp as well as by forcing it to retain the single...
What are you basing that on? A 5.4L cross plane crank engine has nothing in common with a 5.5L flat plane crank engine. Ford has 0 problem not trying to play "keeping up with the Jones'" with a Corvette priced at double what a Mustang costs.
Also we obviously wouldn't get the fully dry aumped...
Shelby isn't interested anymore, hence why they just release a "new' S650 based Shelby GT350 and summarily got ahit on for it being just another Coyote/Whipple combo again.
Yea should be able to fit.the battery pack down the middle and the frivw motor up front still with the ZR1 architecture that currently exists. Should be an absolute monster.
Not a GT500, so doesn't need to be supercharged.
The Z06 uses a completely different engine to the base C8, even more different than the Voodoo was to the Coyote. Given Ford's financials I dont see them developing an entirely new engine to compete on the hp/liter level of the Z06. The Z06...
Won't be more hp than the GTD.
I dont see them going bigger in tire size than what the Dark Horse has.
I also dont think they necessarily have to compete with the Z06 or the former GT500 on power as the cars competition is now out of production so it only has to kind of compete with cars like...
The person youre replying to is not only not interested in 1/4 mile racing but drives a GT350 and not an ecoboost. No idea what relevance any of what you had to say has to do with OP's question.
Probably worth it for autocross where the the Mach 1/PP brembo kit is still more than enough, but for track day work the AP kit represents an increase in performance and a reduction in size.
