When you pull off the gage/vent pod below it, I believe it just slides out. With that out, you can easily disconnect it and forget.

All mustangs have the same head unit with the Prem package. The GT350 has it standard. Google should have plenty of videos if you're still not clear.

Anyone use Lithium batteries? Seems like a good way to shave some weight. My only worry is that some don't play nice with some car's electronics.

I've got a decent stereo that I'm pulling just under 2k watts rms...wanted a battery upgrade over OEM when the time came. I know it clicks everything on from time to time so for sure getting extra draw compared to stock. It's a 21, so about 4 years is fair imo.

Anyone recommend a good replacement battery? Looks like between the cold and the stereo killed my OEM. What's everyone running?

Gotcha...I know Roush makes a similar setup for their cars. I prefer the OEM active exhaust due to quiet mode time settings. What you may want to do is a ghost cam tune. That will give you all kinds of burbles. It can be set to disengage at a certain RPM and go to a map for normal driving.

...you need active exhaust. The "valves" you're referring too are the muffler valves that can go from fully closed (quiet) to fully open (loud). If you want those sounds, which I also love, you'll need to do an H or X pipe that replaces the OEM resonator. Also, doesn't matter if the car is...

My Durango had it under the passenger seat also...Mopar thing maybe.

Maybe change your tactics...I'm sure you could do a simple relay for the fuel pump circuit to have the same effect.

I've seen people post here and on FB with that, so I'm going to say yes. Ask your salesmen for details.

H-pipe on my 21GT and LOVE it! I have active exhaust so I can choose how loud I want it. The 5.0 is still raspy at high RPM, even with an H-pipe...just the nature of the engine. But what I like is low RPM in track mode. Lots of grumbles.

This is awesome!! Can someone post the stereo one's? I don't have it yet...was afraid to void warranty, but that's coming to an end soon.
