Fake scoops are authentic to the Mustang. Going all the way back to 64 the mustang had trim pieces that are basically fake side scoops.
Mustangs GTs built between 1987-93, and every mustang from 1994-2004 had fake side scoops. That includes all Bullitts, Mach 1s, and Cobras, even the 95 and...
I still have the factory one. I have a Steeda collar, just never installed it. If I still get some rattling after I install it without the nut I may do the collar then.
First thing I did was to swap out that crappy stock shifter. There was so much play in that thing that it starts wobbling from just looking at it. Went with the Steeda short throw and shifter base bushing bracket and there is no play in it at all. Installed the Steeda clutch spring back in...
Thanks! I couldn’t drop it any lower. My driveway is flat for about 8’ then goes to a -12.5% grade. The good thing about the minimum drops is that I don’t have to worry about the front bumper hitting curbs when the wife drives it.
I installed the minimum drop on OEM shocks back in Dec on my 22 non-PP GT/CS. I'm getting 14.5-inches from center of wheel to top of arch all around.

I have owned the following, in the following order
1997 F150 V6 with the M50D
2002 Mustang GT with the 3650 (5th: 0.62:1)
2001 SVT Cobra with the 3650 (5th: 0.67:1)
1999 BMW M3 with the ZF 320
2022 GT with the MT82
The 3650s were ok. The M50D was indestructible. The ZF was the best of the...
Is anyone running the Steeda track inspired chin spoiler? If so, can you post some photos? Steeda's website is kind of lacking. How does it compare to the PP1?

TTW quoted $1,665 for spring install and alignment. Shop rate of 160 for 9 hours plus alignment. 9 hours to swap out springs is laughable. A friend an I swapped out live axle with an IRS in an SN95 on floor jacks in about half that time.
Installed a few Steeda parts I got for Christmas: clutch spring and perch Kit, IRS subframe alignment kit, IRS subframe insert bushings and minimum drop lowering springs
I have used Texas Track Works in the past and have been pleased with their work. If you’re getting a quote from them for parts install maybe shop around.
I had Chris at Precision install Steeda minimum drop springs and couple of other suspension parts along with an alignment last week.
Both...
