I went to this today as per usual. There sure are a lot of nice cars lurking around this area (NE Wisconsin).
2025 Les Stumpf Ford Father's Day Annual Car Show
Hopefully you can see the pictures of some of the cars that were at this year's show.
It was a bit busy so some pictures have some...
The compressor on my 2016 GT started making a bit of a noise last fall, just a subtle rattle/infrequent scraping sound but still blew cold air. I figured I didn't want to deal with it then when I knew I would not be driving it much over the winter.
So, it's no longer winter and the noise is...
My daughter's 2016 Ford Fusion SE: Smoke/steam/hydrogen sulfide spewing out, hot as the surface of the sun to touch, the smell of a bunch of folks digesting tacos and boiled eggs, intermittent dashboard outages, 8 volts, yup, that is an ex-battery, pining for the fjords. Now disconnected and...
The entire border of the windshield on my 2016 GT looks very odd, almost like it is de-laminating or separating from the windshield frame. I don't know if it is the original windshield or has been replaced at some point. Is this normal or is it just another "feature" of my specific car? I know...
Yup, yesterday I was replacing the APIM on my 2016 Mustang GT Premium to one with navigation. I did a similar swap on my F150 last year and was happy with the results. Unfortunately, this time the clip on the Fakra connector where thec cable from the GPS antenna plugs into the APIM broke...
The quarter window trim on both sides of my 2016 GT is quite nasty and I am looking at what options I have to improve it. I don't know what caused it to look like this. I think the damage extends into the rubber itself and is not just concealing a pristine surface. Maybe the rain in southern...
I'm trying to use this tuner with the new tunes I got from Wengerd. The TDN app is up-to-date, wifi strong signal, successful bluetooth connection, TDN app successfully updated the firmware, the app is logged into TDN, I used this same tuner on the same 2016 Mustang GT last fall to push a tune...
My 2016 Mustang GT (non-PP, stock 18" wheels) came with the following tires when I bought it from "Mint" Auto Sales in Orlando, Florida:
Front: New-ish Dunlop Conquest Sport A/S, 235/50/R18
Rear: Very worn Federal Super Steel 595, 255/45/ZR18
Last winter here in NE Wisconsin, I did...
Preferably in very good condition and already painted gloss black. Let me know what you have stashed away in your spare parts drawer.
It would need shipping to Wisconsin (yup, I know that's a hassle), unless you're within a few hours drive of zip 54944 in which case it's road trip time for me...
My "Mint" Auto Sales 2016 GT came with a thumbnail size damaged spot and a tail-like crack extending a few inches on the rear bumper cover. It's directly below the license plate. I have no idea what the previous owner did to cause this but in my time I've done some things to my cars that make me...
The rear of my non-PP GT looks like it has Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and Extreme carbon fiber ceramic brake pads.
I'm trying to figure out if the front rotors and calipers are stock. I don't think they are but if not, I don't know what they are. I am being lazy and trying to sort it out...
I have thoroughly documented my fun times with my 2016 GT Premium named Oliver. With all the other things I've already had to deal with (and now largely have sorted), I had never really used the stereo to any extent. Today was the day to change that and at least get Android Auto going so I used...
I was asked to put a few items on a Christmas list and I thought a black Mishimoto Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank would be a good choice for my 2016 GT Premium. Are there any recommended vendors/site supporters that'd be a good choice to patronize for this purchase?
I have other things I hope...
I am looking for a stock engine cover for my 2016 GT. If you have one that is in at least good condition kicking around just taking up space, please shoot me a DM and see if we can make a deal including shipping.
And yes I am also keeping an eye on ebay and FB Marketplace and even Craigslist...
I am reinstalling the stock resonator on my 2016 GT and based on what I see in some undercarriage pictures of other 2015-17 GTs, there is supposed to be a heat shield above the location where the resonator is installed. Mine doesn't have that. It looks like the Ecoboost may not have this shield...
One of the vents in the group of three of them in the center of the dash in my 2016 GT is broken and I am trying to find a used one in good condition. Otherwise I will try to find a new one at a decent price.
Anyone have any leads?
The 2016 GT I just got has BBK long tube headers, high flow cats and an MBRP catback. It is much too loud for my taste. My last 2016 GT came with stock manifolds/cats and a Borla Type-S catback with the Borla resonator. It was a good combo for me but I can't afford $1,700 for one.
I have been...
I am looking for an OEM catback system for my 2016 GT to replace the one currently on there that is too loud. There is a OEM catback for sale not too far from me and is a decent price. The seller says it's off a 2015 or 2016 Mustang but he doesn't remember if it was a V6 or V8. It wasn't his...
I suppose I am not setting a very good example for my oldest daughter recording my immaturity. As my wife laments, "I thought by the time you hit this age, you'd be more mature." :)
This is Mustang number seven for me. My last one was a Screaming Yellow 2016 GT Premium I sold to help pay for the kids' college. That's all over so I went on the hunt for another Mustang. I looked at some 1998 Cobras, 2004 Mach 1s, yellow 2005 GTs, a couple of 2014 GTs but really had my heart...
