  4. Thrust Washer

Yes torqued to spec but no loctite. Brake was off when testing. Seams weird that the sound went away then came back after a day. And its not as bad now. Is that a clue?
  5. Thrust Washer

My noise came back as well. Looking at suspension components now. Neither wheel bearing gives when i yank on the tire. I even put a bar under the tire for more leverage and no movement. I've checked for loose bolts and cannot find anything. I'm not sure what to do next. The noise is not a...

when i go to parts.ford.com and put in my vin, it shows that it "fits my vehicle" so it must've been removed by someone?
  8. Thrust Washer

Yes that is the main question I'm trying to answer. The sound seams to be coming from the pass side. I already replaced the hub a year ago. I didnt even know about the thrust washer. I know it wasn't there then either. Maybe the darn hub went bad already.

OK. Was going to track these occasionally. Should I stay away from 255? The more I get into this, I'm thinking sticking with stock.
  13. Widest tire on a foundry 18" rim?

  16. Widest tire on a foundry 18" rim?

Looks like they don't make 255/45-18 either so its Conti extreme sport 245/45 for me.

  18. Widest tire on a foundry 18" rim?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but can you or someone elaborate? I'm looking to switch from 235/50-18 (stock size) to 245/45-18 so I can run the Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02 (These are not available in 235/50-18). I'm making sure there will not be an issue.
