Looks to me to be a cylinder head oil drain passageway. Pressurized oil to the lifters and valve train needs a way to flow back to the oil pan to be recirculated again. There’s another one on opposite side of the block up front.
MyStang, that means you are putting your right foot down hard :)
I love my ice Mustang more than the first day I bought it!

We had the same console 25" color tv with radio on one side and turntable on the other 6' long 500lbs a good set of keys tossed in front of the TV would change the channel as well. 😂
Cobra Jet,
Thank you for the information. It's greatly appreciated. I'm professionally tuned by Wengerd My IMRC is not locked out. I'm using the VMP Mustang GT IMRC Swap Harnesses for the 2018 Intake Manifold. I tested the vacuum solenoid and it's working as expected. There is no movement at...
You are right about not changing runner length.
I have been searching the web/forum for information on what happens when the system is active at startup. I have checked my vacuum solenoid, manually activated the vacuum canisters to close the IMRC valves, so I know they hold vacuum. I don't think...
My assumption is when the car is in off position IMRC valves are open. When starting the car the solenoid opens and stored vacuum pulls the valves closed to shorten the intake runners. Is this correct or am I missing something?
Ok Guys here's the update,
Dan,
We were able to replicate the same connectivity issue during our testing & have decided to make a one-time exception to issue you a new MPVI3.
- All existing credits/licenses have been transferred over & TDN was also tested to ensure it is working as expected...
I picked mine up in 2019. It was working great until I wanted to swap to a different tune.
It has lost its Bluetooth ability.
I have always taken good care of it.
