Picked this up from HF - will hopefully turn the lug wrench that came with my scissor jack kit into a 1/2” torque wrench. It weighs nothing & fits in the bag storing the jack and accessories

Received the Gorilla kit. For the price, I was surprised the lugs were shipped loose to beat and bang around. I guess they’ll get marred up soon enough anyway.

Got the pony & GT dipped the other day. The 5.0 badges were not having any part of it for some reason - will try again today.

The 21 mm fits my swollen lug like the 13/16 fits the other 19 - no slop or wiggle. Hopefully it comes off without issue. Will try @Bitten in '69’s recommendation.

So……I’ve got my Gorilla lug nuts ordered (don’t have them yet). I also ordered a 13/16 lug socket which came today. I put the 13/16 socket on every OEM lug nut on the car and it fit all but one. I got the 21 mm socket that came with my scissor jack and it fits the lug good. Can I expect...

The black lugs looks great. I wish my wheels had a darker or titanium finish.

Thanks, cerbomark - I didn’t think to measure the driver side car height vs passenger. Sure enough, the passenger side is about 1/4 higher measuring the bottom of the side skirt to the floor. I’m curious what this implies

So the driver side rail hangs a bit lower than the passenger side rail front to back for whatever reason. The seam sealer material wasn‘t an issue during installation. Just manufacturing abnormalities with the car and or rails and nothing to worry about? Trying to keep my OCD at bay

I like the black lugs but I’m not sure they’d go well with my wheels - any thoughts appreciated!

I was thinking of using the impact wrench for removal only but I would avoid that if it still risks damaging the new lug nuts.

Are Gorilla lug nuts impact wrench safe? I just put my jacking rails on and I was planning to get a mid-torque impact wrench to aid with a tire rotation and getting the lug nuts swapped out.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I’ve seen Gorilla mentioned often. Is there a particular size for my application or should I speak with someone at Gorilla to determine what I would need?

After reading and research on the forums, I’m left feeling that the stock lug nuts on my car are a 2 piece design and need to be replaced with something of higher quality. I’m not sure if this applies more to someone who is taking their tires off frequently or not. Tire rotations/replacements...
