GREAT combo. I ran prety much that combo on my 22 GT and it was amazing. I have yet to do the headers on my Mach 1 but I have the Wengerd 93 tune and Steeda filter and I love it... Stainless works is a great header, and not too expensive either. I ordered Stainless Works for my GT but they...
I was going to say an APC mixed like 4:1 or even stronger. I keep a bottle of Green star at 5:1 for heavy lifting and use it very infrequently, normally 10:1... That is my go to for tough jobs like that... as for tire dressing, other than the little round makeup brush, I can't bring myself...
Got a big job lined up for next week. I am taking a few much needed vacation days, and I have a good friend dropping off her S650 PP convertible on Monday and leaving with me til Friday. Giving it the royal treatment... Can't wait to see how it turns out, more photos to come. All my supplies...
I find rinseless wash is perfect in this scenario. Whether you use Optimum No Rinse or one of the many others on the market ( I prefer Armour Detail Supply Hero). This is a quick and easy way to safely remove such things off the paint. Or as @DFB5.0 mentioned a mildly alkaline pre foam and...
That makes me a bit angry. I hear Youtube boobs RAVE about Labocosmetica. It being from another country altogether, I guess regional differences strike again much like the UK products that I detest... Another product for me to avoid, thank you for the timely info..
I put a Mishimoto tank on mine and the factory cap o rings were too loose, and mine leaked like a sieve. I had to buy a new cap at the dealer. Once I did that, it sealed up tight... Maybe the o rings shrink over time?
I find I ONLY use Reload on plastic trim now a days hence a 500 mil bottle lasting me forever. It is the bees knees for trim for sure. I don't really care for it on paint. There are more forgiving and easier products for paint (IE KCx S0.02, ADS Ceramic, Amplify, etc)...
LOVE Gyeon products. Especially the drying towel. I have just about every drying towel on the planet, and the Gyeon Smoothie Evo is my FAVORITE by far. The wash mit is nice too :)
Well I took the day off from work today and drove my Mustang, got caught in an absolute frog strangler downpour. Got home and decided to wash before putting away. Got the wheels done and was fixing to start on the paint and another huge storm blew up. Had to wait almost 2 hours just to finish...
Man that would last me 50 years..... I have a 500 mil bottle and have been milking in for the last 3 years and still have 1/2 of it... A little goes a LONG way with that stuff...
Agreed, caring for PPF is pretty much the same as without. Just watch the edges with a pressure washer, I use a nice wide 40 degree tip on mine and it works like a charm... I only have PPF in a few spots though...
I do clean mine pretty often, it only primarly gets dusty though so a quick wipe down is all thats needed... And a quick vacuum and clean the weathertech mats...
Did my second full wash since I did the coating on my Mazda a month ago. Man I LOVE how Gyeon MOHS behaves on the panel. I just hope it lasts for a while. Can coat didn't last 6 months in the kind of driving I do (40K miles a year)...
Agreed about the ceramic coating. They are a wonderful thing, BUT they are SEVERELY over hyped and sometimes they are almost MORE complicated to care for.... I do love the ease of washing for sure, but water spotting is a huge issue.. They have come a LONG way in the last few years though.
