Music from under the hood = problems, unless it is the famous tick lol The exhaust sounds may be good, but they don't provide the bass I desire :) See what I did there with actually referring to what this thread is about.
I use an Audi specific one in my daily, but only for the radar detector. I don't think tapping into the rear view mirror power allows for the dash cam to record in the parking mode, as there will not be a constant power, I would think.
Don't forget the Laser Disc movies :). I remember when there were four people assigned to a room, and all four would have audio systems set up by their beds.
It's interesting to read these. I think I have the first original Soler Throttle body, as they used my car for development. Recently, I've noticed mine will surge after a cold start, but it goes away as soon as I pull out of the garage.
Have you considered going with 20"s? Your tire options will greatly increase. I and many others use Steeda springs. Make sure to choose correct wheels and tires the first time or will get expensive to change your mind after the fact.
Be careful when asking for the best :) Some people are running $10k plus setups and others running setups that cost much less and both would consider theirs the best.

Two different audio systems causing the same problem means something is wired incorrectly if nothing else was changed and the car drives fine when the audio systems are removed. I wouldn't tap into the backup camera for remote turn on. Check entire power wire, entire ground wire and move that...
