I have a feeling mine was about the last custom job Shelby was doing. Lol
The 21”’s on back definitely gives the car a different look, kind of gives the car a raked appearance. It definitely makes you aware of your surroundings because the front valance is soooo low with the Shelby suspension.
No CSN with the Widebody, or at least mine as it was a custom built. If anyone ask if it’s a “Real” Shelby, I’ve got a big receipt that says it is!! lolThe suspension upgrade really improved handling! Although you need to be super careful with the clearance!! I chose custom wheels and went 21”...
My Widebody took just over a year to get scheduled and about a year to complete. I’ve got a couple of other cars so the wait wasn’t horrible. It was definitely worth it!!
I did have interior done along with custom wheels and suspension too.
The orange was my first pick! I had a 15 in the Competition Orange, loved it! I just had my car returned from Shelby and glad I didn’t, the Rapid Red really sets off the Widebody!
Some of the design was slipped to me, from a “ future build” according to sales. Turned out to be the KR edition. Yes my car has been there that long!!
I was told the “ShelbySnake” logo is reserved for specific builds, mine is not any specific build,,,, so could not use it. To my understanding the covers were made with the logo and had to be sent back to remove it.
Not as bad as you would think, but,,,,,,
The only thing that was a straight up build on my car was the Widebody. I’m not sure if my great personality or salesman ship came to play!! Lol This is kinda a 1 off job, from the interior to the wheels, custom order, and even the suspension all in...
They used to sell them off the Shelby website, a kit to do it yourself. Not sure that’s still available? Their website has a pricing and options for just the Widebody build.
