19 GT Vert A10 - 83K Daily Driver.
I'm not gentle on it and it runs like a champ everyday.
Mustangs are pretty bullet proof - but sometimes you get a lemon.
As for the 4.6 - I have an 06 GT Vert - 260K+ miles and still going strong.
Are you an engineer???
You sound like my Mechanical Engineer son.
We always debate OEM vs Aftermarket.
He thinks OEM engineers always design the best and specific to the vehicle.
I think aftermarket is better as it usually improves on the mass produced vehicles equipment.
That being said...

So doing some research....
I read that depressing the brake pedal will significantly reduce the fluid flow.
But haven't seen this in any of the YT videos.
So maybe doesn't work on the 550.
But also found some recommended items from Amazon.
Various stoppers and caps.
Any thoughts from the smart...
Okay - now to answer your question Brother.
As I said in the post above - I have the Shelby CS14 Wheels which are "chrome powdered" but looked like painted bright silver.

Strongly disagree!
I've had chrome or polished wheels on all of my 6 Mustangs.
Note: I have the Shelby CS14 Wheels which are "chrome powdered" but looked like painted bright silver.
When the clear started to where last year I have them re-powdered to a polished aluminum look.
But everybody has...
Thanks Brother
I'm discovering nothing is as easy as it first seems with the S550 - and it takes 10 times as much time...
And definitely not as easy as the pros make it seem on YT.
Having to figure things out as you go since the vids and instructions out there are not always detailed enough...
Alright all you smart guys.....
Need a simple question answered.
How do you cap the brake lines while changing the lines?
Is there a part I can put on the ends?
Or just use a cap nut?
Don't want to lose all the fluid and have to do the process for the ABS.
Thanks Brothers
Ford Performance makes some great parts.
They have the upgraded Strut Mounts with the Cam Plates built in.
And sell the entire suspension set up package.
I like the Steeda products.
Active Dampers
Progressive Springs
Cam Plates
Shock Mounts
And they sell packages too.
Depends on if you are...
Steeda Progressives and the Pro Active Dampers work well together.
But I don't see those for the 24/25s, so may still be developing.
But the Pro Actions at available for the 24/25s.
The front springs drop the front stance 1 & 1/8 inch - so it makes the stance front to rear more even.
The rears...
I would recommend getting one of these - or something similar

Makes the oil change easier - controls the oil flow so it doesn't jet out.
I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30 and also add a bottle of the LiquiMoly Ceratec (get them cheaper on Amazon)
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum? Is it better than Mobil 1?
I have heard good info on the Valvaline Sythetic as well.
Brothers
How much brake fluid to flush and fill the brake lines and reservoir????
I'm installing steeda 2 piece rotors and steeda brake lines.
And I'll bleed the lines obviously.
I see 12-24 ozs online.
Asked the Ford dealer and they don't have info?!?!?
Tried to say it depends on how well you...
