Thanks for this updated TSB. My car is in storage right now but will be out soon and will be going to the dealer for some other service so I will point this TSB out. I still have about 2 years or so of ESP left on mine. I bought the ESP at year 3 because of this effin trans.
2019 with about 20 k miles on it then. No mods on the car. It was a valve body overhaul and still shifts like ass on 3-4 and 4-5 from time to time.
I love the car but Ford could have done a better job with the A10. I bought a ESP before year 3 of ownership with the expectation it will need...
One thing with mine is I run in Sport mode all the time and it downshifts a lot which is basically engine braking that I feel will make it use more than if it doesn’t do that.

I use reverse psychology on them by placing slices of cheese in the car. They see that and they know it’s too good to be true and steer clear of the GT. :)
My car needed a valve body overhaul. It was scheduled 2 weeks out once diagnosed. Brought in after that 2 week wait, repaired and returned the same day. I can't believe what the OP has endured with his. I think it is the worst case of warranty delay I have ever read on here.
What I find funny is with all of these adjustments available to them the trans often shifts like crap. And they know it does too. The other beauty is the learning aspect intended to adapt to improve shift quality- what? :)
If he had say hit a guard rail and it was damaged there would be the cost of repair for that too. Insurance would have to pay which reinforces the need for the report.
