My buddy with a base 2015 GT auto just got quoted $26,819 from Vroom. I'm waiting for him to confirm the mileage, but I know it's up there. The car has been his DD for four years with several trips to FL and back. He bought it a year old with <2k miles for around $10k off its original price...
I'll say that if someone was twisting my arm and offered something stupid like $42,000 (roughly MSRP) I'd take it. Then buy another base but a 2021 in Antimatter Blue, with the PP, 301A, 10r80(?!), active exhaust. Then just swap over all the aftermarket stuff.
I bought this thing expecting to have it for at least 10 years; going on 11 with the Lex boat. The only way I'd take advantage of these times would be if I could get >100% of what I've paid (taxes included) and have an income change that would make me feel comfortable stepping up the nearly $60k...
There's some good stuff in here!
Anyone into mechanical keyboards?
I've bought a few; built a few too.
I picked up Leopold FC980C recently. Basic looking, but it quickly became the daily driver. Topre is worth the cost.
The other side looked just as bad. Rears are worn but at least it's an even wear. We swapped the others back at the house. Told him he can use them for a little while so long as he gets an alignment ASAP.
