Hi all,
I am in need of some of your help. I recently purchased a Brembo 6 piston upgrade kit from LMR. I have bought wheels from them in the past and they are great. However, I believe they have been rather misleading. They advertise the pads that come with the kit as " These pads feature the...
Hi all!
I am making a separate thread for this as I believe this should be posted by itself. The original thread is here. I would also like to preface this with this is not my opinion, this is the official bed in procedure from Ford. Whether you think bedding in brakes is worth it or not, this...
Hey all!
As the title suggests I have purchased the OEM 6 piston brembo upgrade for my base GT. It comes with the stock pads which are Ferodo DS2500. I am wondering if there is any bed in procedure for these, or is the procedure just to drive normally for ~500 miles or so?
Thanks!!
I just wanted to take the time and thank Optimum Performance for some of the best customer service I've ever experienced! The track pads that I ordered ended up being out of stock, but in order to help me reach my deadline for my track day this weekend they contacted the manufacturer directly...
Hey all! So I'm looking at getting some G-Loc track pads and the daily GS-1 Pads. I am considering this change as someone told me their compounds are compatible with each other on the same rotor. Making the change from track pads to street pads more streamlined. Can anyone confirm this? Also I...
Posting this here for more attention :)
Hey all!
I am considering purchasing a set of SVE M1 reps 19x10 wheels from LMR. I asked them and they told me the load rating for each wheel is 1521 lbs. My only concern is would this be strong enough to take to the track? I also haven't been able to...

Hey all!
I recently attached some modified brake vanes on my non-pp GT. The vanes do provide me much better cooling but I wonder how much better they would do if I remove the dust shield. So, my question is does anyone have any experience with removing the dust shield and does it provide a...
Hey all!
So I'm looking for all season options for a 285, 295, 305 size tire. I'm currently loving my staggered 255, 275 MPS4S set up, but they hardly get 15k miles out of them. Any options or recommendations for sport tires that last 40k miles? I know square set ups last much longer.
Hey all I think I may have glazed my brake pads after an HPDE. I posted an update to the experience on another thread but to sum it up I went out there with the stock pads and fluid to see how it would do.
Anyways, I have now flushed the brake fluid twice and the brakes still do not feel as...
I'm just wondering if the Mach 1 HP wheels will fit on my 2023 GT? Would there be any clearance issues/ the need to buy spacers or camber plates? I'm hoping to get these so I can run the 305/315 staggered set up. Thanks!
Hey guys!
I have my first track day this weekend with my new GT and I just wanted to ask a few questions. The car is a 2023 non-PP GT 10AT. The event is at the Atlanta Motorsports Park, which is a smaller and tighter course. Max speed will probably be around 100-110 mph if I'm pushing it hard...
Hi all!
So I had my car aligned by ford at 1000 miles when they did a tpms sensor replacement for me(wheels and tires were off of my last mustang with about 10000 miles on the fronts, brand new backs). When I went back for my 5000 mile oil change they noticed the front two tires were corded...
After stepping up to the GT from my v6 I find myself reaching some speeds that wouldn't look too pretty in the eyes of the law:crackup: I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with radar detectors/jammers. I live in a state where jammers are legal. I also am not a huge fan of a ton of wires...
Hey all, I recently picked up a 2023 GT (new from the dealer) and I'm panning on getting into a few (1-3) HPDEs a year with it. I have spent the greater part of the month reading a much as I can about these cars and how they handle the track. I've come to the conclusion that managing heat...
