yes, the AA kit is spendy, but it does fit front and rear on the Bullitt, fits in the spare tire well, and is otherwise compatible with the car. I could make myself crazy trying to find (and purchase) a combination of wheel dia., offset, tire size, bolt pattern, etc., etc. and still not get it...

Was on a road trip and not paying attention when pulling in to a potholed parking lot, bashed the underside of car on the concrete sidewalk transition. Scuffed the jacking rail a little; didnāt touch the pinch welds at all. Worth the cost of the rails right there.

Rode through Zion at sunrise with a group of Harleys once. Only ones on the road at that hour. An unforgettable experience. Cant wait to make that trip in the Bullitt.
Chiming in here as you and I are of similar āvintageā. I bought my ā19 Bullitt new to use as a true Grand Tourer: eating up large stretches open highway. Yes: these do drive awesome!! So smooth, comfortable and effortless at speed that the wife doesnt mind (much) cruising the highways at 90+...
Leave it alone. apparently they all come from the factory that way, so i have to assume the are assembled with the line at the end of the reservoir nipple for a reason. I succumbed to the panic and slid the line on closer to the reservoir when the car was new; it has never moved back, never...

they are known to be the best in north LA county. Had them put an LSD in my F250 a few years ago, they do great work.
Just did the change to the BG syncro shift in my 2019 Bullitt at 8k miles. Made a big difference; was totally worth it. May it differs from one MT-82 to another. Iffy quality control in a chinese-built transmisson, maybe?
