  1. 2022 GT with diesel motor oil???

Bring it up to the dealership, have it documented on paper from the head of service or the dealership GM admitting that they made a mistake and put wrong oil in it. Have the oil changed to the recommended 5W-30 and send a sample to Blackstone Labs to see what oil it was. If anything happens you...
  2. How many miles did you get out of your 10R80 transmission before self destructing? 500 miles, 1k, 2k… driving type? Towing, city, hwy, etc.

I have never experienced any rough shifts when I am daily driving. I keep it in drive and drive smooth, slow, and safe. If I am heading to the mountain roads to drive spiritedly I always have enough time to reach 150 degrees. Its possible if someone only drives short distances to need more...
  3. How many miles did you get out of your 10R80 transmission before self destructing? 500 miles, 1k, 2k… driving type? Towing, city, hwy, etc.

Yeah I think if you bought the mustang thinking it would be as smooth as a cadillac then I think you were mistaken. Also always let the transmission come up to operating temperature before you can expect things to work right. I don't put it in sport mode until at least 150 degrees.
  4. How many miles did you get out of your 10R80 transmission before self destructing? 500 miles, 1k, 2k… driving type? Towing, city, hwy, etc.

36000 miles and all good here, but still stock power. I have tracked it and autocrossed it many times. I also frequent the mountains curvy roads!
  5. Ford is rebuilding my MACH 1 Odometer 9900 miles. But with known faulty parts.

Please do not let this thread turn into another manual vs auto argument:crazy:
  6. oem brake pads

Actually the FR3Z-2001-N are the correct pads. They are in fact Ferodo DS2500 as seen with the FER stamp on the back of the pad here! The 2001-N part number replaced the 2001-C number as Ford no longer produces them from the Italy factory, rather from the new Mexico factory! Cheers!
  7. Ford is rebuilding my MACH 1 Odometer 9900 miles. But with known faulty parts.

Yes OP needs to stop trying so hard to find the answers he wants to hear and listen to the people who are telling him the real answers! Good luck and take the advice of everyone on here! We’re trying our best to help you!
  8. Ford is rebuilding my MACH 1 Odometer 9900 miles. But with known faulty parts.

Keep in mind just because it’s in the owners manual doesn’t mean it’s covered under warranty! Also dealerships are the ones who decide what is covered and what’s not. You can go through a lengthy process with Ford to force a dealer to honor it, but you do not want to go down that road, ask me...
  9. Ford is rebuilding my MACH 1 Odometer 9900 miles. But with known faulty parts.

Unfortunately if they think you’ve been to the track then yes they can void your warranty. Best advice if that’s the route they’re going down is to get a lawyer. Otherwise take it to another dealership before they make their decision and remove all evidence of tracking!
  10. LMR - Brake pad confusion?

Update: I bought real OEM ford pads from my local dealership and installed them. Instantaneously a better pedal feel! Incredible initial bite and the pedal is not squishy. I can confidently say that I don't know what LMR was thinking that this pad is the "same as rolled off the assembly line"...
  11. G-Loc Brakes

Well I am definitely excited to see how that bite feels! I prefer cars with a strong initial bite!
  12. G-Loc Brakes

Ended up finding the OEM pads at my local dealership! Part number for the fronts is FR3Z-2001-N! The have a little FER stamp on the back that shows they are the Ferodo Pads!
  13. oem brake pads

Sorry to resurrect this thread, is the FR3Z-2001-N the correct part number for the OEM front pads on the PP1 GT? There seems to be many part numbers, want to make sure I'm getting the correct front pads(DS2500)!
  14. G-Loc Brakes

Hey all, I know this isn't G-Loc related but I feel we have some good knowledge here! I am looking at getting a set of the OEM pads. How strong is the initial bite, compared to G-Loc GS-1s? Thanks!
  15. LMR - Brake pad confusion?

Yes I am not saying they are lying just misleading. All the work is done by my local race shop. They are the absolute best at what they do, I trust they did it right. I also have SS lines and run Castrol SRF. If you look at the reviews of the pads on their website other people also complain this...
  16. LMR - Brake pad confusion?

Hi all, I am in need of some of your help. I recently purchased a Brembo 6 piston upgrade kit from LMR. I have bought wheels from them in the past and they are great. However, I believe they have been rather misleading. They advertise the pads that come with the kit as " These pads feature the...
  17. What difference does the Gurney flap make as far as downforce and cornering? And at what speeds is it most effective?

No honestly for real! I'm so done with this conversation! I would genuinely like to see this article as if it's true many race teams will need to rethink how they design their aero package!
  18. What difference does the Gurney flap make as far as downforce and cornering? And at what speeds is it most effective?

Post the article please, I’m calling BS on that sir, no gurney flap has ever doubled the downforce! Ever! Do not confuse a gurney flap with a secondary wing element!
  19. G-Loc Brakes

I go all over! Road Atlanta, Atlanta Motorsports Park, CMP, VIR, Sebring mostly in the south!
