I am NOT a financial advisor, but for sure you don't want to keep the current policy and it's new rates. I've heard about term life policies having a cash value, but it's probably pennies on the dollar a call or an email to a company offering those services will inform you of the details (as...
That looks pretty big. Even if you don't replace the windshield, you should repair the chip to keep it from spreading.
If it's in your line-of-sight you should probably replace the windshield. If it's off in a corner or otherwise out of the way, I would still get it repaired/filled...
Is it just me or is everyone seeing these post in the "latest posts" view of forums from a Scout review forum. Over half of the posts deal with Scout topics flooding out Mustang topics. Did I miss an announcement or explanation?
Thanks.
After trying them once, I put them on a shelf in the basement. I put my top up and down fairly regularly (sometimes while waiting at a red light) and don't need the hassle of popping them in and out. Sure they "clean up the look" of the back while in, but not enough to bother with in my opinion.
Beyond sequential, I don't like how white daytime running lights shift to orange turn indicators. and some of the turn indicators front and back (and their flash pattern) seem more decorative than functional.
Another problem is the placement of turn indicators low on the rear bumper. Not a...
I keep hardcopies in a folder, but Mrs updates a quick spreadsheet with the "what, when and how much." The spreadsheet is quicker to search when you want to look up something. We have three cars, two of which are over 10 yrs old, so this helps keep things straight.
Here's a link the the class action suit against GM sharing their information to Lexis Nexis Risk Mgt who then shares it with insurance companies.

If this is your first V8, your biggest concern should be avoiding being a YouTube star for not being able to handle the power. There's plenty of power (and fun). Test it incrementally, and on dry pavement.
Maybe don't pack it away. I live in NoVA. Winters here have been pretty mild. I drive my convertible daily throughout the year, but I have all-season tires. They say there might be some snow this year, in which case you might want to stay off the roads while they're salting and brining.
maybe the opposite? I see way too many people driving around in the dark with their lights off and don't know it. I'll try to signal to them by turning my lights off and on (not flash). The fact that dashes are continually lit and most cars have some sort of day-time headlight keeps people...
No regrets. I've had convertibles most of my life as daily drivers. When it's hot I blast the A/C and vented seats. When it's cold I blast the heat and turn on the heated seats. My MGB didn't have either, so I suffered for the 20 yrs I drove that. Windows stay DOWN.
I guess it depends on...
As a former 17 yr old, keep the car stock. There's already enough power and performance for anything you need to do. Plus, you need to develop some experience and judgement and survive the next couple of years. (I totaled a '69 442 at age 17, so I speak from experience.)
Also, try to do some...
The Saris rack fits most cars and easily clears spoilers and such. The bad part is the rack depends on resting the weight on the bumper or some other flat spot, so you will eventually scratch that surface. That's why I installed a hitch.

My GT convertible is a daily driver. Mostly cruising with a few "jack rabbit starts". No racing. No track. Stock 18" wheels.
My OEM all-season Pirellis made it almost 30K. They were loud and not very good in the wet. I replaced them with Goodyear Eagle Sports. Much better in the wet and...
