The J&M vertical links look great and as they have rubber washers no wear or noise is to be expected due to debris in the bearing. So in the end they should be quite long lasting, shouldn‘t they?

It was absolutely the same for me. I was quite irritated by the force it was needed to get in the gears 1 and 2 and reverse. After a few hundred kilometers it got massively better. Now it is only a bit hard, when the engine / transmission is cold. When warm it is as easy as with other cars.

Oh no!! This can't be true! Why the hell did Ford change this for the Mach 1? I bought 6 pieces of them! There is absolutely no chance to get the filter in?

No news here? My Mach 1 was produced on the 25th of August and I would like to know, what numbers are currently assigned.

The definitive answer is, that the european Mach 1's will get the 3.55 clutch type differential. Somewhen later, when the diff is gone, I will switch to a Wavetrac with a 3.73 gearing.
