Hey! Thank you! Sure -
So it's a configurable module that connects to your brake, throttle and clutch sensors to give you something close to an actual rev-match downshift. Install wasn't too bad but you do have to splice into those wires which are above the pedals. I opted to use "Posi-Tap"...
You can use the stock fender liners, you'll just have to cut them for the vent where the bellypan/rock guard goes. I have some of that outlined here when I did this to use the pp1 rock guard and splitter...
Driveshafts are the same regardless of engine, but there are pinion flange and transmission connection differences, dictated by year and transmission type. And there may be a length difference for the different autos.
18+ diffs all have the same pinion flange (110mm).
The 15-17 cars had the...
Good point - But yes, you can't use some magneride parts on a non-magneride car since it's a different type of suspension. I'm not too sure of all the nuances there. Although it should be technically possible to do a full swap over to magneride (if you want a giant PITA and make your wallet...
Suspension components are compatible throughout the years. Most all mechanical parts can be compatible.
Here's an older thread that goes into differences of the performance pack: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/gt-performance-package-actual.84208/
But yes, shocks, struts, springs were...
GT500 Valve Covers
Also: Ford Performance VCT Solenoids and new spark plugs.
Installed GT500 valve covers and changed the VCT solenoids while I was in there. Hopefully now I can stop sucking up oil through the driver side PCV on hard cornering (luckily getting caught with the driver side...
New Grill and Front Lip
Back when I re-did my front grill to a custom mesh.
Top is cutout OEM GT grill with gloss black diamond mesh and bottom is the OEM grill from the premium model with black diamond mesh behind.
Mesh used was from Customcargrills.com 12in. x 48in. Diamond XXL Grill.
And...
Ehhh...Came looking for cam lobe wear as I was replacing my valve covers...and noticed some odd looking wear myself. Not far off from yours...but on more lobes. Nothing actually felt scratched though - every lobe was extremely smooth. I've never found any kind of metal shavings in the oil...
In your logs, was that your coolant temp or cylinder head temp? I know in my data logs it does not record cylinder head temp (I thought it was CHT in the logs but it's not a selectable data point with what I use for whatever reason). My coolant gets around 210, but my CHT definitely gets up to...
This sucks, sorry to hear =/. Hopefully you'll have it back up better than ever soon.
I've never heard of this being a problem so now I'm a little concerned for my own too. Are there other things that help mitigate this? I saw someone mention the oil balancing lines.
I haven't commented on it yet, but I do absolutely love the Kumho Ecsta V730 tires. Significantly more grip and still very communicative. Still learning to use all the grip.
That said, with the new grip levels...I finally hit the threshold where oil can get sloshed up into the driver side PCV...
1st ever track day?
I assume you'll have an instructor hopefully as well? Don't over think it.
1. Your tires will be fine. PS4S are perfectly capable. Are they fast? No. Does it matter? No. Especially novice and your first day. Having a lower grip tire that's communicative will be better for...
Define "can be street-driven".
How much brake squeal and dust do you want to deal with?
The stock PP compound pads are pretty decent dual purpose already...the hawk 5.0 are decent too, at least for less aggressive setups. I wouldn't bother with either in higher skill groups or with stickier...
As long as your toe is in spec/zeroed, I'm very confident you will see no adverse tire wear from that camber change. And hopefully you mean -1.5 degrees of camber.
If you're using stock bolts, lowering the subframe may not be necessary. There's a chance the rear diff bolts may rub or get stuck at the tire well when taking them out...but I don't remember if that was with the stock bolts or the upgrades. It was definitely easier lowering the subframe though...
Differential and Driveshaft Swap
Plus fresh axle seals, race bearings and fixing a cracked diff bushing!
Completed this end of February of 2023, but thought I'd share as it was a fairly involved project. I’m a bit behind on a few things.
Parts:
3.55 Torsen Differential from 2021 donor car -...
You must not be familiar with Ford lug nuts =). I'm pretty sure they are still a 2 piece design through all the model years.

I don't remember how tall stock is, but here's a pic of the MGW low profile vs flat stick handles. I don't think the flat stick is much shorter than stock...but there is still a throw reduction. Maybe someone has those exact numbers somewhere.
I believe others have already answered this but a 10/11 setup will induce more understeer. For balanced (and tire longevity), go 10" square. We have a heavier front end, needs just as much meat as the rear.
And starting at a base...feel free to look at my build thread (I really need to update...
