  1. GT350R Splitter Rivets - Options

I believe the correct part number is: N808689-S417. At least those are the ones I used to replace my rivets and they are the same size. By the way the rivet is big and you will need a bigger rivet adapter. I had to buy one from macmaster.
  2. Shifter vibration is killing me

While I don't have this part, I have done modifications that change the factory bushing to urethane bushings. The vibrations from the engine or transmission are transmitted to the dash, chassis, etc. I am surprised that your setup is vibrating so much that it affect your driving. Unfortunately...
  3. What's wrong with this picture?

When I had my acura rsx. I had a billet shift know. It would get hot in the Florida sun. I used to put a sock over it so I wouldn't burn my hands.
  4. Bad clutch or throw out bearing?

You should check if you are low on oil or if you have any oil leaks on the clutch cylinder. If the throw out bearing was bad you would hear a nasty screech sound.
  5. headers and check engine light

That is normal, the o2 sensors readings are out of range since you removed your catalytic converter. I don't think a tune will fix it but i'm not 100% sure. You can add a defouler to each header which will make the o2 sensor be further away from the pipe.
  6. Motor mounts

The person above is correct. I changed my motor mounts to polyurethane and my dash would shake. To be honest I don't think it was worth it
  7. Why You Can't Skip This Step When Working on Suspension!

What a great video and explanation. I already knew you had to torque suspension components while the wheels are the ground but I couldn't fully understand why. But this video clears everything up the great thing is that it applies to not just mustangs but all vehicles.
  8. How does cold air get into the cold air intake?

Let me be frank with you. A true cold air intake routes air from the outside of the car to the inside intake manifold. Those intakes are not true cold air. When I had my rsx there were 2 intakes you could buy, the regular straight ram air that would suck from the engine bay and the other was one...
  9. Ohio Brand new Ford Performance M-6067-M52S Aluminum Valve /Cam Covers - Pair

I'm interested in buying them, please contact me for payment and shipping.
  10. How long to program new ecu ? 4 hrs ?

I don't believe it takes 4 hrs to program an ecu. I think they are charging you more for the overhead of the work. Meaning paper, etc. Etc. I don't know if they have to do a lot of procedures such as key learning, but I am sure there are setting they can probably back up and restore. In my...
  11. Gt350 or Supra

I am 41 and I can definitely say that the post above is true wisdom. If you can hold out longer you will be much further ahead later in life. I know it is hard because I have been there and committed the mistakes.
  12. Gt350 or Supra

Before I bought ny gt350 I looked at a lot of cars. The supra being one of them. Unfortunately it had a few strikes against it. One is that at the time it was only automatic and I love driving manual. Two was that it's a bmw and I just couldn't get over that. I don't have anything against bmw...
  13. GT500 Valve Cover Install

Thank you for posting this. I want to change my valve covers as well.
  14. Baby seats

I know it's not a bullit but I have a gt350 and I have been able to fit a rear facing seat in the back of the front passenger seat. Not the most comfortable. I have to move the seat forward Most of the way. I have the Recaro seats on my gt350. I knew it wasn't going to be as comfortable but I...
  15. Requesting Input On Body Shop Work.

I would agree with some of the opinions listed here. When minor things like that happen I deal with them myself. Ask them if there is anything you can do to lessen the scratch.
  16. Requesting Input On Body Shop Work.

That is unfortunate but as you know sometimes when using tools it is hard to be perfect and accurate. You should ask them if there is something that can be about them. The second scratch is the one I would probably voiced concern about. The other one seems so small you can probably get a small...
  17. Oil life

I had a 2003 acura rsx s. It was modified for a bit more performance, engine and suspension. It didn't have an oil change reminder. I always changed the oil at about 6k miles never under. A couple of times I did 7k or 8k. I did the valve cover twice at over 100k miles. The last one being over...
  18. Opinions on lifetime wheel alignment

Here is my experience with alignments. I had an acura rsx type s that was heavily modified. The suspension was lowered, shocks, camber bolts etc. I drove the car for a long time in miami, fl and later in st charles missouri. Because of the mods to the suspension I had to get an alignment almost...
  19. Stainless Power Hi flow cats gas smell

The problem is that depending on the design of the header there is not much you can do. The headers I had, had a flex pipe which is basically a wire mesh pipe. So the fumes would scape through that. The flex pipe is needed to account for the flex from the engine/header movement to exhaust. Your...
  20. Stainless Power Hi flow cats gas smell

I ran catless for a long time. It would smell like rotten eggs. It is more noticeable when you are at a stand still idling. Remember that some of the headers have flex pipes. I don't know what advice I can give you but in my opinion the smell is normal. I know you are not running cat less but...
