I love the polish angel stuff. I have now moved to using a machine for the annual polishes, but for maintenance waxes the spraywax is fantastic and super easy to use. I also think that with the less amount of buffing the paint isnt static-ky so it doesnt attract as much dust.
Forged rims make...
A bit off topic but for those of you who have tracked bathurst, when I have driven around it in racing games it seems incredibly narrow and tough in the corners, is that what it is like in real life? I think it is up there with the hardest tracks in gaming at least
Cheers, yeah decided against it but just looking at the email it says it is offered by ANW insurance and excludes paint panel and trim
Extend Your Car Warranty
Extended warranty coverage mirrors the benefits of your existing manufacturer's warranty across covered components up to today's...
argh, MachnRoll and GT450 have expressed exactly why I am on the fence, with their completely at odds but perfectly valid points.
What is making me lean toward not going ahead with it is that I am more likely than not to mod the car, perhaps a tune at least or a supercharger at most (more for...
Good afternoon gentle folk.
The 5 year warranty is coming to an end on my '19 model GT manual. It has a touch over 30K on it, I plan to keep it, I do maybe 5K a year. Ford are offering an extension of the manufacturers warranty for another 3 years for $2K which I was tempted by but then I...
I've had the covercraft outdoor one for about 2 1/2 years, I bought it from another member who had sold his mustang. I'd essentially have it on about 4 days then 3 days off when I was driving the car. Very light, very soft inside. The fabric feels weird, like mushed up egg carton cardboard...
Yeah I have an X pipe on the Jag which gives the more howly, angry note, and went for an H pipe on the Mustang for the fat 70's throbby note, every so often I feel like a change and I've considered getting an X pipe as well as I think they might be swappable and no welds, I could change them at...
It does crank a bit slower before it gives up, in my experience. I noticed mine stutter when cranking about 3 weeks before it gave up but then it seemed to be fine and it fell out of mind. The batteries are really cheap ($250) so I suppose no real drama throwing a new one in at the first sign...
It would be better if the battery was exposed and that way at least everyone would see it when the bonnet was open. You are meant to wash it off with hot water, according to the RACQ guy.
I might see if I can take the lid off the cover on mine.
Cheers, actually you might like this. I had to reconfigure the dash after the battery was disconnected and I always forget how so I was watching a youtube clip, it went on to showing how to change the colour in the ambient lighting and the dash. I fiddled around with it and ended up with...
Does the corrosion issue still happen with the replacement batteries? I can remember having to look at corrosion at terminals in car batteries like 30 years ago, I didnt realise it still happened
Just had my battery die, the terminal was covered with crap and the RACQ guy reckons that this is a common issue with them, best to wash off the crud with hot water. I never thought to even look, I would have thought it would be checked during the services.
I replaced my GT performance pack spoiler with one of these:

A bit of a story to it, I had bought cf mirror covers and hood vent covers and the lacquer had bubbled and...
Yeah I was kinda concerned about having headers put in because I love the sound I already have with the mishimoto h pipe. But my performance guys thought headers were the first thing you'd do to get the most out of a tune. We used to call them extractors when I was a teen.
Even 10% is a lot of hp gains in a NA car, I would have thought a tune taking it from 340KW to about 360KW would be pretty reasonable. 10% would be 375KW (about 500hp), 15 would be about 390KW. 500hp is plenty, though I suppose it is lugging a lot of lard.
If that 10% is real, I might do it...
