It would be better if the battery was exposed and that way at least everyone would see it when the bonnet was open. You are meant to wash it off with hot water, according to the RACQ guy. I might see if I can take the lid off the cover on mine.

Just had my battery die, the terminal was covered with crap and the RACQ guy reckons that this is a common issue with them, best to wash off the crud with hot water. I never thought to even look, I would have thought it would be checked during the services.

Yeah I was kinda concerned about having headers put in because I love the sound I already have with the mishimoto h pipe. But my performance guys thought headers were the first thing you'd do to get the most out of a tune. We used to call them extractors when I was a teen.
