imagine my absolute joy...was using up a couple days holiday - today & tomorrow. Weather = 17 & sunny. Other half at work, little one at nursery...
Been dying to get the winter grime off the mustang and for the first time in a while, I had time to do more than just the bare minimum. Got it...
I think I'm a ~5 hour round trip, but I left the car with them and did my return journey by train.
As for how they are holding up, I have zero complaints, I also had my standard GT wheels resprayed by GT101 and the difference vs how they came out of the factory is very noticeable, much more...
It's so sad to see, and exactly what happened to my smaller Ford franchise place. They did a pucker job with a warranty issue in 2019, and I used them for all my servicing until sadly they closed up a couple of years ago.
Wouldn't go near the big Ford dealership in town for obvious reasons, so...
Love this. Only skimmed the detail. This is a "grab a cuppa and a snack" kinda read. Very timely as I've decided I need to do a bit of a bulk buy of products very soon.
Washed it! (Yesterday)
It was a race against the daylight, but i managed to wash, clay the paint and protected with a spray sealant, gloss levels are amazing! Not the best photo, but it’s all i have
on a sad note, i noticed some bubbling of the paint on the bonnet
Well, I'm both impressed and jealous of the list in the OP! Nothing quite like a big haul of detailing goodies!
Just the one for me, 15% off a new dryer. I've looked at it for long enough to know this was about as good a deal as I'll get on it! Not used it yet, but it looks like a great piece...
That one is for the weekend. I'm more excited about the bottle of Bourbon just behind the box - Bulleit. Had a bottle last year and enjoyed it, good deals on alcohol this time of year. just getting the stock for the Christmas break!
An exciting upgrade just landed, a nice black friday deal (15% off).
My metrovac died a while back and research led me to this. More punch than the metrovac, which only had enough oomph for the wheels. This bigboi should be good for all tasks!
As someone else has said, I think the corrosion issue is pot luck. Deffo something to ask about/inspect if you end up viewing it.
Other benefits for the facelift would be the oil cooler issue, I'm lead to believe that late pre lift models also had an appropriate fix in place, but the face lift...
Welcome, Paul...and congrats! great choice :sunglasses:
And how are you finding the handling? Not sure if/how much yours is modified, but in stock form, the Mustang suspension can feel a bit floaty. Cheap and cheerful fix is some lowering springs, makes a world of difference.
Do share any...
+1 for the HSB075. I think I paid around ÂŁ90 for it. Came with a 5 year warranty too.
Don't do what I did and leave so late, to the point where I had to jump start it, then jump start again after driving 1 mile down the road to get petrol lol
Booked in with Hendy performance on 23/09 for a normal service, 1. because I want to try them, and 2. as another set of eyes/hands on diagnosing this minor clunking/popping.
Will update with progress in a couple of weeks
Ooh flashbacks reading through this one!
That was me that had the whole interior out, and wiring loom replaced under warranty. Great to have the photos as a reference, I've always been 99.9% sure that my issue was sorted, but having extra bits to check is always a good thing
The final loan payment left my account this morning. Mustang all paid off!
I'd love to splash some cash to celebrate, but it's service time! Might treat myself to a few detailing products
I did spend some time at the weekend too detailing the interior, long long overdue!
Thanks for for the compliment!
Feel obligated to share some nice photos now :) details in my signature, but I also note that I added some camber adjustment bolts to get the front alignment dialed in.
