The rear sway bar and springs have to be able compensate for the larger mass, functional resistance and increase in weight to be optimal for the HP wheel and tires, reverse is true for the standard Mach 1.
One reason I didnāt go HP. I didnāt buy the car for gas mileage, but man does this sucker drinkā¦ :cwl: Canāt imagine how the extra weight and mass of bigger wheels and tires would make that worse. Doesnāt help that it begs for you to put your foot in itā¦.;-) Feeding this sucker as a daily could...
They push right on and grab the lip of the fender. But, I put some removable adhesive in the channel just to reinforce it. Iāve walked past the car and knocked one off once and thatās how I solved that. They look great and work well.
Theyāre just doing what a lot of people already do to their cars. Theyāre just doing it using the Shelby name and charging extra for it. Nothing wrong with that. Itās the American way. :like:

Someone in SA is reading this thinkingā¦.āNote to self, put some inside badging and serial number on the car so everyone feels special about the $75k extraā.
Best $5 weāll ever invest in this bad boy.

Really, I think those comments are funny. Personally, I think the Mach 1 is built as though we had a cousin in Ford management who got some friend in the plant together with Ford Performance to build a special mustang.
Itās SAās car not Fords. They can do whatever they want. If you donāt like it, donāt buy one. :) Apologize in advance for being blunt, but really.
With my 2016 GT, I did the FP PP2 Kit by my Ford dealer at the time and my warranty both factory and Ford extended were both gloriously preserved while I enjoyed a nice bump in performance and absolutely no unhappy surprises. Iād recommend it. Plus it made my GT look like a Gen 2 version of my...
