Auto or manual?

I only got throttle surge on my 2650 on cruise pulling a hill in high gears. The vacuum pill did help with slowing the response on regular driving. But I guess it's not the same for auto and manual cars.

Sounds like throttle timing might be a better way to deal with the aggressiveness no?

@DougS550 does the smooth boost controller allow different ramps? I wouldn't want a pd blower to feel like a centri except in all of the worst conditions I would actually drive my car in.

Actually Magnaflow street system is likely the best option for a full 3 in exhaust with a catless LTH option. No drone and it is loud enough when the valves are open. This is what I used on my 2650 setup.

Is this mild steel? Well if you can do your own welding I guess it's fine.

There are oval center sections that give a quite a bit more bark but not crazy loud. If this doesn't work for you for whatever reason try one of those.

Same until you experience spark blow out. .024 is already tight. I was at .028 for 11-12 lbs and never had a blowout problem.

Methanol is an alcohol, it lowers IAT & provides more octane as well. In the case of the wmi, the water does most of the cooling here in a roots style blower. That being said how much you can add safely is up to the fuel type quality and tuner.

I have the scherer fab intercooler, it's not 6 inches thick but it's rated at 1200-1300 wheel. What's the main reason for a thicker intercooler? Is it more heat soak resistant? If it is a race only car, I understand.

If you don't hit a limiter at 7400 in any gear it is possibly removed. I would say that is fine if you are a good driver. The top of third gear is go to jail territory on a D4 even at stock redline. It shouldn't be an issue for you.

Who tuned you? My car doesn't have a limiter turned on. It is an 18 MT-82 car. The shift light on the 18+ cars go to 7400 I think. But I have numerous logs with me revving into the 8k rpm range.

I'm assuming this is a T6, you can most definitely run a smaller inducer on the compressor side and make that kind of HP. Most compressor housings are have a machined ported shroud from the factory. In the case of any reversion that may happen this feature can prevent major damage. You won't...
