I wouldn’t even admit to driving my car to a race track, let alone driving on one.
Absolutely do not mention “racing” or anything other than driving the speed limit to your dealer if you want warranty work. I got hassled a bit for just mentioning that I was getting a wobble at 80mph and the...
I saw a great looking 350 that was Avalanche with matte black stripes with a dark purple matte pinstripe that I thought looked really cool. Sadly I can’t find the picture I took. You couldn’t tell it was purple until the light hit it like the Mischievous Purple on the later 550s.
If all this started with the light bulb, I’d remove them. Are they OEM or aftermarket? My old Subaru immediately developed electrical gremlins when I put in some aftermarket fog lights and the gremlins were gone when I went back to OEM.
Thanks for the help guys. Back from the wheel and tire shop and the verdict is the front tires need to be replaced due to separating. Alignment is good and they didn’t see anything wrong anywhere else.
Maybe but I’ve been dailying the car for 18 months now. Before that it sat but I feel like a flat spot would’ve worn out by now. I have no idea if a flat spot is permanent.
Just jacked it up and there’s no wheel play. The strut boot cover though isn’t attached at top or bottom, just loosely sliding up and down. The strut rod is bone dry and I don’t see any oil leak. The yellow thing on the strut rod was also loose but I have no idea what that means. When I lowered...
It’s possible the tires are going bad. I’ve had them for a couple of years and there’s been a lot of driving over bad roads. Nothing huge comes to mind recently but the weather has been cold and I got lazy and parked it outside a few times so yeah, it could be a tire thing. I don’t have a lift...
I know the tire pressures are good all around. I didn’t see anything that leads me to believe a weight fell off like an adhesive patch but it’s possible. The vibration thing hasn’t been a slow process getting worse, it came on suddenly so you might be right. I can have a look later and see if I...
Get a dash cam with battery backup. Even if the tech unplugs it, it will still record. Mine saved me from a malicious Firestone tech when that moron unplugged it then promptly redline no lift shifted my car around the block.
I think my front passenger side strut is going bad but I can’t convince myself either way. I’ve been getting a bit of a vibration at 85mph and above from the front passy side.
All stock suspension with 32k miles on a 2018 GT premium.
I swapped the front wheels to make sure it wasn’t a wheel or...
Well good luck with that. Ford stock dropped 20% this past year so I’m sure they’re going to be in a big hurry to throw money around but good luck though! If you get a big settlement then you can get those upgraded parts and a blower
Why are you assuming that? If they’re paying for it under warranty they’ll tell you if it’s under powertrain or the bumper to bumper.
In the warranty information that came with your car, Ford is not obligated to provide you with a loaner.
As far “upgraded parts”, I think you are referring to...
Maybe they’re backed up with work and that’s why it’s taking so long? When I had my clutch replaced by Ford I didn’t have the car for month because it took that long to get the parts, get the Mustang guy in the shop, do the work, etc.
Do you have ESP or anything like that or is the repair...
Are you talking about Executive Order 13768? The one that had a preliminarily injunction slapped on it four months after it was issued and ruled unconstitutional a year later?
