After many, many visits to the dealership, they declared it to be fixed (again), It works for a full week (great improvement) and then shuts off until the car is driven (literally gone- not just started in place). Then it’s good for another week. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to...

New door handle did not fix anything. They finally replaced the BCM and it worked for 2 days then stopped working.

New dealership ordered another new door handle. Not sure what this will accomplish.

Going to a different dealership next week

I feather the brake pedal and lean forward and it sometimes works. This is not exactly what I expected from a $50k car. In other brands of cars this “just works.” You hop in without giving it a thought and start the car, seat moves up, and you can take off.

Or maybe the BCM is bad?

Since the new handle was no better than the old one, and the new one was not painted the right shade, I made the dealership put the old one back on. Now I need to find a new dealership where they will properly diagnose the problem. I can only imagine there is a damaged wire or connector...

New handle painted and installed. They kept car fo 9 days. After less than 48 hours at home it stopped working.

New door handle arrived in primer and has to be painted to match. Car still not ready.

Besides being inconvenient, try that method while parked on an incline (facing uphill)

Today the dealer said everything was fixed. I tested it only to find nothing was fixed. I wonder if the people who are having trouble are heavier than average. It worked perfectly for the 98lb service advisor.

Update Intelligent access on passenger door only worked for 1 day. Hooked up the battery tender. Will fully charge the battery and see what happens.
