I really am quite intrigued by this. So many different views and looks like vast majority of Mustang owners prefer 5w30 even for the older s550 models. I can see the logic why.
Yet, speaking to someone in the car engine oil trade, they advise 5w30 only required if heavily modified, burning a...
Hi. No it definitely was, I made sure when picked it up after service, it's been reset each time after oil change.
I suspect it's the type of commute start stop particularly in mornings that is deteriorating the life of oil so quickly and have been advised to use an engine flush at next...
Thanks for that. That's interesting. So I do 5-6k per year, mostly commuting, 18 mile round trip daily. Normal driving, Certainly not daily spirited driving.
However, after 6 months oil life indicator is less than 5%, my last service was March, 2k miles since and now oil life <5%.
Minor mods...

Hi all. Just want to get some recommendations on engine oil as I'm going to be be doing my own oil change 6 monthly now rather than at the garage. The cars a 2016 GT lightly modified with larger steeda CAI, custom remap and catback x pipe exhaust.
Manual states use an engine oil that meets the...
That reassures me I was a bit worried the 25-30mm drop they quote would be too much. Similar suspension mods I'm doing at the same time along with g trac brace.
Some suspension mods going on at the same time and will be talking to modurstang about the links when book in for it all to be fitted with them
I was going to just change springs woth pedders springs which were recommended by a mustang garage. But I'm thinking if the shocks are going to replace them too. I would not use the full potential of fully adjustable coilovers as I'm very unlikely to start changing settings on them once...
Evening all... wondering if any if you have experience of the Pedders EZ fit springs and shocks? I wS just going to fit the pedders lowering springs but earlier this year the NSR shock needed replacing and now the OSR
shock does too. The car is not tracked and is a daily drive. Just thinking if...
The UK stock rear deck has this elevated GT badge.
I want to replace it with this
I'm not sure if the raised GT emblem van be directly replaced with the 2nd flat one. Due to the holes in the stock rearcdeck which the 2nd one would not cover.
I think where the Faux Petrol GT cap is on the rear deck, once removed the Flat GT emblem won't cover the holes. Which means I would have to buy blank rear deck with no holes to stick the new flat GT logo on to.
