I sure wish leadfood had been available for my year! Was always my favorite color for this car. Also regretting I could have had HEP at cost but just was not my taste lol
Yeah if anything it makes the rear area more useable being able to throw stuff back there and not having to worry about messing up the seats! Only use really is taking all your kids friends out for a ride at the same time
I'm kinda confused by all this. You start by saying the ECU doesn't make any adjustments because its TB positioning is pre-computed, but the second half you're saying it does make adjustments in order to maintain its desired power level, but then also at WOT you *do* get more power somehow? Why...
As an R owner I would say if the specialness is irrelevant to you then you would certainly could have as much fun with a regular GT350 and also make it as fast or even faster than an R if you wanted for a lot less than the market value difference. For me what captured my interest in the 350 in...
I've noticed some discoloration and dullness starting to happen on my exhaust tips and the finish on it does seem a bit delicate and I'm not even sure what it is exactly. I've been using only regular car wash soap, afraid to put anything heavier duty on them. So I'm curious what does everyone...
Here to second Covercraft, absolutely the best and fantastic fit on a niche car like ours. I have the OEM cover too but am keeping it boxed just as a nice to have if I ever sell.
Sheesh 8 miles! Barely enough time to get the temperatures up! I'd say for me that would be the biggest factor for anyone considering DD'ing a 350 is you either are idling for 10 minutes twice a day, or driving like a grandma for 10 miles before the oil is to temp.
This is my first car with any...
I also would be curious about BaT's decision making. I tried last year to put up my immaculate Golf R manual (and probably the last year they will ever offer a manual again, at that) to make room for my 350 and didn't get accepted. I know it's only one data point, and not the most special car in...
I haven't been keeping up lately to know what or how many Gen 2 issues are popping up, but at the end of the day none of us know the actual numbers. You can't measure the significance of a low-rate occurrence by how many people happen to go online to complain about it. We're completely...
I've actually found that for around town the car feels much calmer and quieter even with the exhaust open by keeping it around 3-5k *very* light throttle, the engine has to do less work being in or at least close to the powerband whereas down low you have to give it a lot of gas and make a lot...
Interesting but I'm worried it might be worse than just an occasional idle thing, like when this all started happening the sound of the engine definitely changed during street driving, and it feels like the car doesn't really "wake up" until I drive it hard and feels more like it used to/should...
Are those the 2 plugs on each side toward the front of the covers? They looked secure after my last drive but should I try re-seating them this weekend?
The new turbo 4's everyone's going to aren't exactly making less power. They're not as fun to drive, but that's the whole reason for turbo-ing is to maintain or even increase power. The new Acura TLX's makes like 20 more hp than the outgoing V6. The real casualty is revs and sound :frown:
I mean that's the problem, the point of the GT350R is GT3 specialness for less than half the price of even a used one. Anything you're gonna cross shop it with cost-wise is kinda meh, at least in my opinion. Sure there are options now that perform as well or even better but that's not everything.
