I've been running mine for almost 18 months with nothing more than what came in the kit, and I have no complaints.

It's not a bad job at all. Takes about 10 minutes to get the door panel off. Once the panel is off, you just remove the nut that holds the handle onto the door panel. Here's a good video that shows how to remove the panel:

Yes it does, but only if the tank is filled above the Low mark when the engine is cool.

I've had mine replaced twice and determined that if I fill mine above the "Low" mark when the engine is cool, then when the engine gets hot, it will either break where the black section attaches to the white section, or it will leak from the cap like your video shows.

You and luc got it right. Poor anodizing. I haven't used anything other than cheap Harbor Freight microfiber towels to wipe the dust off. The discoloration is even on the back side and in the grooves. The suddeness of the change after 10 months of it looking normal is what had me most...

You nailed it. Whipple got back with me and said they occasionally have batches where the anodizing process hasn't been done correctly. Even though the warranty is up, they're sending a new pulley.

Do you have a Tomahawk with the tune that Whipple provided? If so, you should be able to reinstall that tune.

I bought the 7000TL to use on my Ram pickup, and it works great with the Mustang too. You won't have any issues if you go that route.
