Sometimes I do wish the Mustangs had better sound deadening, I guess if we put something in the trunk that helps it dramatically even without drone. Road noise, I guess.
I ended up removing my res in the GT and moving to a Roush X pipe. Was skeptical about either option of an X or an H but I didn't want to pay the premium prices for an S-Type active-valve. So it is a good place for me to start. The cold starts are LOUD, but they sound badass as hell. I use quiet...
I'm not opposed to a stagger set. I had a Corvette in the past with a staggered setup. If I go with 275-40-19 and 315-35-20 will there be any fitment issues? If I don't have to lower my car, to get rid of the wheel gap I'm all about it. Its said on here that wider meat in the rear keep the...
I've been doing some light reading on what types of wheel/tire setup we can go on the Mustang. I currently have the "premium 20in" wheels on my GT Premium (brushed alum). I enjoy how they look on the ride but I just sold my set of American Muscle 19x8.5"s from my Ecoboost days and wanted to...
You don't know low until you've a corvette. My previous ride a C5 was scraping everything. Have to like slant to get into a parking lot from a main road, or exiting places at an angle.
Ended up ordering a Roush X pipe. And wow does it make a difference. Maybe placebo but I can feel a difference. And it definitely screams in the higher RPM at shifting 5k+ RPM
I assume you gone to the Ford website popped your VIN in and downloaded the file. There should be instructions as well. Generally when I update my Fords I keep the running and on, and plug the USB in and it just starts and does its thing. Is the USB 2.0? 3.0? Etc.
Make sure it's formatted...
When using the software you should always make a backup before making a change. There are spreadsheets that have specific things to turn on/off based upon what you want. It's super easy, just have to make sure you know what your doing. There are YT videos on mostly F150s and so-on. But it can...
Sweet! I'll order it soon. I'm just adding on the X pipe next week, and then going to tackle ordering that and getting someone to install it for me. Doesn't require an alignment after?
Oh wow! I didn't realize this was an option. Thinking about hardwiring my Radar Detector with a blend mount. This wouldn't work for me then right? What kind of dashcams does this support?
Which one should I go with on my GT? Is one better then the other? Do they achieve the same? I want to be able to launch the car, safely. Or get on it with out the back feeling loose.
I usually use my Apple Car Play via the cable, but if I'm not doing that then I keep BT on, it will automatically reconnect to my phone when starting. Are you on the latest sync update?
But you do end up hearing more sound from the resinator delete, but it's not droney right? I'm thinking of going into the shop when I get my oil change and getting the resinator swapped.
I'm in the "idk which one I want X/H". When you removed the resinator did you also remove the sound tube in the engine bay? Or does that not matter in terms of hearing the sound with either or?
