The noise comes from the floating intermediate disks. The McLeod doesn't fully float their disc they are controlled to arms which allow movement in and out but not axially which the Mantic does allow. Clutch rattle used to be a pride of ownership thing on Ducatis but not on a Mustang. A friend...
Actually that is NOT what you said it might have been what you meant. Yes the TVS blowers are better blowers but the m122 is not a bad blower. Fact is the installs were never really optimized like they can be today. If you're fine with 550rwhp an m122 is a great blower. The setup on my car run...
Fans only help when standing still they actually hurt air flow when moving. Actual testing shows that the fans can supply about the same amount of air as traveling 10 mph so any time you're going faster than that they hurt air flow.
There are solutions that can drop IATs but they aren't cheap...
Sorry not true. Silver m122s came on GT500 from 2010 to 2012 the TVS blower came in 2013 and 2014. It is really easy to tell since all the TVS blowers from Ford say 5.8 cast on the top.
While the M122 blower is hardly state of the art it makes 550 RWHP for relatively little money compared to all the other PD blowers out there. And runs cool as you could want when running the 1 1/4 inch lines the manifold is designed to run. I have that setup on my 2015 and am perfectly happy...
Opps poor proof reading on my part. Right springs got them from BMR in the very first batch and I like them fine perfect lowering and rate for what I wanted just need better shocks.
Well sure. The block is modified to hold together and built to be as strong as they know how. The intercooler system is far from stock but that I can't talk about in a public forum, sorry.
Yes. Progressive springs might be okay with electronic shocks that can change damping rate with spring rates but those shocks don't exist yet in the aftermarket.
Last I heard from a major seller of Bilsteins is April for the rears. I like the fronts with my BMR shocks. I hate progressive springs don't think any standard shock works correctly with progressive springs.
