Bought it new in December 2020. Was sitting in a small Utah family Ford dealership that sold mainly trucks and trailers. Go figure. The car is a blast on the track.
Welcome to the club Cobrakai, you're not alone. I had the dealer check out the system and they said everything was working correctly. Don't remember this being an issue when I first bought it, but it definitely is an issue now. I'll try the mid vent work around and see if that helps.
If anyone is interested in a Ford rear seat delete kit that was taken out of a 2020 GT500 CFTP, LMK. Thought of installing it in my GT350 but changed my mind. In perfect shape, does not include the rear parcel shelf or the seat belt covers. Located in San Diego area, probably prohibitively...
Thanks @Farkel, I found that in my search. What I was hoping to find is what type of preparation and lubricant/thread lockers does Ford recommend? I know that Porsche and other manufacturers are very clear on reassembly, but I don't find that anywhere for Ford.
I want to re-torque my front strut to knuckle bolts and I need to back them off to get a correct torque spec reading. What does Ford recommend in terms of preparation and whether or not a lock tightener should be applied? I can't find anything that addresses that part of the R and R procedure.
The A/C system is fine, it appears to be fairly correlated to the temp setting, but the fresh air setting pumps in hot air; today the outside ambient was 66 degrees and the dash vent temp air was 80 degrees.
Ok, I'll try to explain it in a different way. The heater feels like it is always on- the temp gauge I have installed indicates the air coming out of the center vents is 80 degrees, when the climate control temp is set to low (which is below 60 degrees, the lowest limit of the temp range). If...
I noticed recently that my heater seems to be blowing hot air all of the time, once the car is up to temperature. I have installed a temp gauge and it is around 80 degrees when the ambient temp outside is in the low 60's. Just started to notice it; anybody have the same problem and what was the...
Not concentrated on one side as far as I can tell, it just seems like it is the same through the d side and middle dash vents. I'll check the pass side to confirm.
My 2020 GT350 seems to be discharging warm air through the vents, even when the temp is turned all the way down to low. The A/C side of the system seems to be working correctly, the temp seems to increase/decrease the cool side as you would expect. I know there has been discussions focused on...
No, hadn't really thought it all the way through. It was just a place to start to see how the prices compared to other members. You're right, that would be too many miles for me, but in the event of a sale, might be an advantage?
Well, I called the Ford ESP sales line to ask about an extended warranty in Cali, and they said that you could only get them on the phone from them and that a law had recently changed to eliminate any other type of sales effort. So, I got a quote from them which was for the premium plan 4 year...
