I have a 2016 V6 convertible. This is the engine:
There appears to be an "exposed" electronic connection:
Is there supposed to be something covering that up? Like some sort of cable wrap or something? I've been driving around like this for quite a while, so it doesn't appear to make a...
I have some white-ish stains, almost like scale from dried water, on parts of my interior door panels. It's a convertible, so perhaps it got wet and then dried and then some salts/soap got left behind? Anyway, I can't get rid of them. Any ideas?

I have recently completed (mostly) the 4" to 8" Sync3 conversion. I've changed some settings with ForeScan, and for the most part things work. I keep getting navigation faults, but I switch from the home screen to audio and back and the map comes back. This will happen randomly.

I just purchased a 2016 base v6 convertible, and it has the rather lame 4" infotainment unit. I've been going through the forum reading about similar upgrades.
This thread was enlightening, but in the opening post, the installation steps jump from #4 to #14. It's also a bit old, I was...
