I am a Mustang guy through and through, but I have to admit, this frontend from what I have seen is a major step in the wrong direction compared to the S550. Really not impressed. Hopefully when it is truly revealed it will look better in person, but there is no way in heck I would trade mine...
Agreed. We drove my cousin's 67 and it was much louder and more turbulent. The S550 is practically tame in comparison, but with the Love to Drive deflector it also works for my wife who is not a fan of having her hair blow around in her face. I was cool with driving it at freeway speeds with...
For those that may still be interested :), the total to repair came in at around $17,000! The insurance company informed me that it would be totaled and then started asking what the options and model were... to which I challenged "if you don't know the model, how do you determine it is...
small update: Finally got it in to the repair shop, waiting to see if it may be totalled. The shop will do what they can, but apparently the damage underneath is more extensive than it first appeared. :( Going to go out and talk to them today after they do some measurements to see how far...
That color is beautiful! Really love it. Though I have to be honest, it would be hard to look past that GT. Those are stunning. My cousin has one (2018 I think), so amazing in person!
That is exactly where we pulled in! I am not holding my breath on the sidewalks, most of what they are doing is expanding on electrical, water and sewer just enough to support the 15 bazillion houses that they are adding... :)
Dang, super small world! Yes, it has blown up. It was coming from the high school down the hill on Royle Road. The kid was crossing into the Cloverhill development just before Gee creek.
That is a rural road (tons of growth but without updating the road system) so there is no sidewalk and no crosswalks. Kids have to either play Frogger or wait for someone to stop. Stopping was the right thing, and I watched the car behind me stop before I waved the kid across.
Initial estimate of $7k but more than likely around $10k. Glad it will be fixable, and found a great local shop. Now the ~2 month wait for it to be fixed.
The drivers one is tweaked right at the back near the tail lights, maybe a 2x2 inch area, and pushed forward just enough to barely touch the back of the driver's door. The passenger quarter appears totally undamaged.
Thanks!
Hey folks, well after 7 years of keeping my car near perfect (not even a door ding), got rear-ended yesterday. Was taking my son home from school, stopped to let a kid cross the street. The car behind me stopped (brand new Toyota 4 runner, lady had purchased it only a week ago), but the young...
