Ok yeah, "TRANS STRATEGY" would indicate that they did the "Transmission Solenoid Strategy" steps in the TSB, which is a reflash of the PCM and learning cycle.
I will see about getting mine in for this as well. I've experienced the harsh shifting and the bucking while manually shifting from...
Why not? Are you concerned about grip? Like NightmareMoon said, grip is more about tire compound than section width when considering the tire itself, at least to an extent. Suspension will also greatly impact grip. It all depends on the goals you have for the car. When you go FBO and you want to...
285/35R19 or 295/35R19 seem to be pretty popular square setups. You can achieve both without any crazy mods or sharp camber angles. 285/35R19 is especially easy to achieve, and there are a lot more 10" wide wheel options vs 10.5" which you'll need if you want to maximize contact patch of a 295...
I'm curious. Did they just flash your PCM and do the relearn drive cycle? I'm looking through the doc, and in some cases they'll remove the transmission to replace the clutch cylinder. It also says the dealer has the option to replace the transmission completely! This is quite extensive...
I have a 2019 S3 Roush build with the axle backs on otherwise stock exhaust. I love the sound, and get compliments on it frequently. It's louder than stock, but definetely not by a huge margin. That tone though 👨🍳💋 AMAZING imo.
That's clean! Rain is an issue for a majority of the year, and while we don't get lowland snow that often winter temps still dip consistently low enough to make driving on summer tires not good. My car will be going into the garage for its winter hibernation soon. My daily is a 2011 F-150 SCrew...
Traction is an issue from a dig, and sometimes from a roll. But I live in the Seattle metro area, so it's usually the amount of traffic and speed traps that keep my foot in check.
My car is mainly driven on the street, and the only thing that's slightly annoying is not being able to use the SC all that much. It feels like power and smiles left on the table, but I wouldn't say I regret it. I've been very happy with my Roush... *ducks incoming comments about other kits...
I want to say I remember seeing some kind of special on a forced induction kit last year...Maybe at Lethal Performance? Don't quote me on that though cuz I wasn't specifically shopping for that.
Nothing wrong with waiting a month+ to see if there's any deals amirite?
That's funny. Do you know when they made the change? Wouldn't surprise me if the marketing department just copied and pasted from the 2022 model year, which may have been copied from 2021 etc. 😂
Looks like the 2023 GT uses the same rear brakes according to the specs matrix.

Interesting because the 2.3L PP uses larger rear rotors (same caliper) just as earlier model year...
